Detailed Itinerary
You will be picked from Morogoro to Mikumi National Park, driven you to the park’s border and takes 30 minutes to the park’s entrance gate. The tour starting from Dar es Salaam takes about 3 hours.
Upon arrival, you will register to obtain a permit for the game drive; registration takes around 15 minutes ‘’depending on the number of participants’’ and the game drive starts around 8 am.
The game drive adventure takes 2 hours. It starts at 8 am and ends at 10 am, you will stop for breakfast. After breakfast, you will proceed with the game drive until 1 pm. After lunch and a short break, later embark on a short game drive ‘’1hour’’ before travelling back to Morogoro or Dar es Salaam around 5:30 pm thus making the end of safari.
Note: This 1 Day Mikumi National Park Safari can be adjusted to a two-day safari that includes a visit to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, which is perfect for a day hike and leads to one of Tanzania’s most famous waterfalls ‘’Sanje Falls’’
