The 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari is a greatly combined holiday safari itinerary that takes you to three top-visited safari destinations among the few selected places in the entire world. Places include; Bwindi Forest National Park for gorilla trekking in Uganda, and Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking in Uganda.

You will visit Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya for an unforgettable game safari, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park both sound superb for game adventure.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up at Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
On day 1 of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, upon arrival at Entebbe Airport or at a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala Uganda, you will be picked up by our company representative who will brief you about the safari. Then, start the journey to the home of the world’s largest population of great mountain gorillas – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey is estimated between 8 to 9 hours’ drive from Kampala /Entebbe to access the main destination. Proceed to the park, arrive late evening, and check in to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Uganda – Batwa community tour
On day 2 of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, wake up early morning at 6 am, and have breakfast with your packed lunch boxes. You will meet your guide to drive you to the park headquarters for the briefing about gorilla trekking do’s and don’ts. After briefing, you will head for a gorilla trekking experience in the forest with the help of the ranger who will allocate you to your assigned gorilla family. The trekking can take about 30 minutes to 7 hours. Once finding them, you will be given an hour to spend them as you observe their amazing behaviors, habits, feeding as well as taking photo shoot.
If time allows, you will connect to Batwa trail to visit their exciting traditional culture and way of life on how they lived with mountain gorilla in the forest before the area was created into a game reserve. Return to the meeting point after trekking, meet your driver guide drive you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kibale National Park a capital home to primates, especially the chimpanzees. The journey usually takes a 6-7 hours drive via the Ishasha sector of Queen where you will be able to spot the unique tree-climbing lions. You will drive to Kibale with an en-route stop for lunch. Arrive late afternoon. Check-in and rest as you get ready for the next day activity. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi Swamp
Wake up early and drive to Kibale Forest to the meeting point for the briefing about Chimpanzee trekking rules and regulations. After, you will be led by the park ranger into the forest to look out for the chimpanzee. On finding them, spend an hour in their presence observing them as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor. After trekking, go for a swamp walk in Bigodi swamp – a stunning area in the park for birding and primate viewing such as Baboons, red-tailed monkey, Black and white monkey among others. Diner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe – Fly to Nairobi (Own booked flight)
On day 5 of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, have breakfast and transfer back to Entebbe with an en-route lunch. After lunch, continue a drive to Kampala/Entebbe arriving in late afternoon. You will be dropped off at Entebbe airport for your onward flight to Kenya – Nairobi.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta airport with Kenya Airways, meet the driver, and connect to your reserved hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park – 3-4 hours’ drive – afternoon game drive
On day 6 of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, wake up have morning breakfast, and go enjoy the Nairobi city tour where you will visit places of your choice with en-route lunch. Thereafter, transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park a magical home to millions of colorful flamingos. The drive takes about 4-5 hours’ drive.
Upon arrival, connect for an evening game drive and birding around Lake Nakuru. You will be able to encounter other various bird species ‘’flamingos’’ such as African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White, and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants and animals to spot including buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, zebras, rhinos among others. Back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Morning game drive – transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and connect for an early morning game drive where you expect to view a range of wild animals like the lions, leopards, hyenas, and different antelope species and explore the park’s wildlife spotting animals including the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and zebras.
Thereafter, drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve – a journey which takes 3 hours drive. Maasai Mara is actually the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in neighboring Tanzania bordering Serengeti National Park.
Arrive, and check-in at your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Maasai Mara full-day game viewing
Have your delicious morning breakfast, carry your packed lunch boxes, and then go meet your driver to drive you to the open plains of Maasai Mara on a full-day game drive. The Maasai Mara plains are an excellent location to go for migration events which tend to happen between July to September. A list of animals to watch includes zebra, impala, topi, and giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle is regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. The black rhino is a little bit shy and hard to spot but is often seen at a distance if you are lucky.
Mara River is habitant to thousands of hippos and Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. The best time to visit here is during the dry season when the grass is dry and short thus giving you clear photography.
Have break to have lunch around Mara River as you spot a range of wild animals that come to quench their thirst.
Optional activities: Hot air balloon – Wake early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your hot air balloon safari starts in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. After an hour’s experience, float peacefully above the ground, with an aerial view of thousands of animals and beautiful natural around. For about one hour you will be floating peacefully above the ground, with a bird’s eye view of the African bush below. After connecting to your lodge. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via the Isebenia border
On day 9 of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, after an early breakfast, you will connect to an en-route morning game drive by driving out of the park via Olololo gate in Mara West to link to Isebania border of Kenya and Tanzania. After clearing with the immigration, cross to Tanzania and meet with your Tanzanian guide waiting to drive you to Serengeti National Park with en-route lunch.
Upon arrival at the park, you will connect to en-route game drive. Then, drive to your lodge, check-in for dinner and overnight.
Note: The Serengeti allows you adventure the big five game in plenty and other animals.

Day 10: Full day in Serengeti national park
After your delicious breakfast, meet your driver and head on a game drive to Serengeti National Park with your packed lunch. The central sector is perfect for its masculine lions and other wildlife species. Later afternoon, you will drive to Central Serengeti for game drive adventure.
In this area of the park, you will have a high opportunity to watch big prides of lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Giraffes, Elephants, different Antelopes, and other wildlife. Later in the evening, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Another day in Serengeti national park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast, meet your driver, and head for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park with your packed lunch. A list of the wildlife to look out for includes; the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, cheetah’s elephants, leopards, hyenas, and rhinos to mention but a few. Later in the evening, connect back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Ngorongoro crater game viewing experience
After morning breakfast, followed by a transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will connect to Ngorongoro crater with your picnic lunch for a half day of game drive in the crater. The crater has a good number of Lions and Cheetahs, and it is another good safari location to see the rare black Rhino. In the late afternoon, connect to your lodge for check-in dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 13: Transfer to Arusha – Departure
On the last day of the 13 Days Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari, after breakfast at the lodge, check out and transfer to Arusha. The journey takes 3-4 hours’ drive to Arusha. Upon arrival, the driver will drop you off at any advised place. That marks the end of the 13 days of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania Safari.
