Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 1 of the 14 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, you will be picked by our expert driver guide to your agreed place of location, he will brief you about the safari and then transfer you to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way to Bwindi, you will have a stopover at the equator to enjoy memorable photography and water experiments as well as tour the craft shops around. Where you can buy souvenirs to take back to your loved ones. Continue a drive to another stop in Mbarara for lunch en route. After lunch, proceed to drive straight to the park. Arrive late evening, and check in at the lodge. Have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 2 of the 14 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, after an early breakfast, you will carry a packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to the meeting point for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the jungle to search for these great mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are found because they like moving from one place to another looking for food. During trekking, you will be able to see other primate species, different birds, plants many more. Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural which gives you a chance to watch their behaviors, and habits, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos, and record videos.
After the one-hour incredible encounter with mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your driver guide to either drive back to the lodge for relaxation or go an Optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, visit their homesteads, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances many more. After the cultural tour, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. On the way, you will enjoy perfect views of the landscape, scenery, farmlands, countryside, and others. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for lunch where you will relax, and later go for an evening game drive where you expect to view different animals such as buffaloes, oribi, waterbucks, giraffes, zebras, topi many others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Arcadia cottages-midrange

Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe and Departure flight to Tanzania
Enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge, and then meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator, take photos, and buy craft souvenirs – if you missed visiting on your first day. From the Equator, you will proceed to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Arrive and be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport by a ‘’driver guide ‘’for your departure flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania.
Your guide will pick you up from the airport upon your arrival. He will welcome you to northern Tanzania, and have a short briefing about the safari. You shall proceed to drive to your hotel, check-in relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Materuni Waterfalls Hike
Today, get to enjoy a Materuni waterfalls hike at the foothills of Kilimanjaro, which will permit you an opportunity to walk through communities, and see the Materuni waterfalls all the while enjoying panoramic views of majestically Kilimanjaro Mountain. Get to enjoy a locally prepared lunch, and then return to Arusha. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Drive to Tarangire Park, Game Drive
On day 6 of the 14 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, after enjoying a perfect breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be driven to Tarangire National Park which is also located in the northern part of Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is renowned for having a wide range of herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees.
You will have lunch and also engage in an afternoon game drive around Tarangire National Park. During your game drive in the national park, you will look out for wildlife species such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, and waterbucks among others as well as numerous bird species. You will enjoy viewing the sunset in the wilderness of the national park and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
After your breakfast at the lodge, you shall enjoy a full day in Tarangire National Park. Look out for a number of wildlife in the park, including giraffes, zebras, large herds of elephants, and many others. Enjoy your lunch box in the midst of the jungle, and after, go for another game drive as you leave the park. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.

Day 8: Drive to Serengeti, En-route Game Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours to Serengeti Park
On day 8 of the 14 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, and check out with your packed lunch. Then continue on a transfer to Serengeti National Park. You shall drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy incredible views of the highlands and wildlife en route.
Through the Nabbi gate, you shall enter Serengeti National Park. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the wilderness. Drive to the camp all the while enjoying wild game viewing en-route. Check in at your camp, and relax as you wait for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: North Serengeti Game Drives
Drive Time: Approx. 2-3 hours for strict transfer
After an early breakfast, transfer to the north Serengeti on a journey which takes between 2-3-hour drive. You will get to explore the northern part of Serengeti National Park, especially around the Mara River area looking out for the beautiful Mara River crossing which is purely left to chance. Also look out for various animal Serengeti including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes many more! Lunch can be enjoyed over a picnic in the jungle, or at the camp. Dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 10: Hot air balloon and afternoon game drive
Wake up to an early morning transfer to the launch area of the Hot air balloon, enjoy a one-hour balloon ride over the Serengeti plains with aerial viewing of the migrating herds from up above, and be amazed at the sunrise over the park bringing life into the wilderness. Climax your hot air balloon safari with a bush breakfast experience.
Meet your guide at the camp, relax at the camp, and after your hot lunch head out for more game drive experience for an opportunity to see more wild game. Return back to your camp in the evening. Relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 11: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will also have a stop at Olduvai Gorge for an opportunity to learn about the historical findings of Dr Louis and Mary Leaky.
Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, continue to the lodge, check-in and rest as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Cultural Tour
After breakfast at the lodge, with a packed lunch you will descend into the crater and you will visit Lake Magadi which is located in the center of the crater. You will also look for various wildlife species including elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras as well as flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.
You will interact with the Maasai tribe in their manyattas and enjoy learning about their culture and lifestyle (they live alongside the wildlife in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area!). As you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ngorongoro, your guide will transfer you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 13: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park-canopy walk
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park which is home to the unique tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species.
You will also engage in a game drive and explore Lake Manyara National Park, and enjoy seeing the diverse scenery of the national park. You will also search for different wildlife species around the game park like various antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, and baboons among others as well as different bird species.
After your game drive, continue on a canopy walk in the park, giving you a great chance to have a bird’s eye view of the park.
