Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Airport, Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our expert driver-guide, brief you about the safari. You will then, be driven to Best Western Resort Hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing overnight stay, as you prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja City – White water Rafting
Wake up enjoy a delicious breakfast, check out of the hotel and embark the journey to Jinja city, enjoying the spectacular views of the Ugandan countryside along the way. On arriving, you will experience the thrill of white-water rafting on the Nile River. The rush of the rapid will provide an exhilarating introduction to the power of this might river. Back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Transfer to Masindi
After morning breakfast, followed by the check out and embark to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience. Upon arrival, you will have a high chance to go observe Uganda’s last remaining white rhinos in their nature habitat. After enjoy hot lunch and then proceed your journey to Masindi and check in at Masindi Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On day 4 of the 16 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari, enjoy breakfast and then drive through Uganda’s picturesque countryside towards Kibale National Park. You will picnic lunch along the way, have chances to stretch and absorb the surroundings. On arrival, check in at the lodge and get already for the next amazing wildlife experience. Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start the day with warmly morning breakfast, with an exciting chimpanzee tracking expedition in Kibale Forest. Kibale Forest is home to over 13 primate species, including baboons, colobus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys among others. Chimp trekking starts with a briefing about the rules and regulations of the chimp tracking. Once you allocate them, one hour is given to tracker to observe then as they survive in the forest, habits, feed, and enjoying amazing photo shoot. After, return to the lodge to have hot lunch and then after ,depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through beautiful landscapes and rural communities. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Game drive and Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
After an early breakfast, head out in the park for a morning game drive with great chances to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and a variety of antelope species. Drive back to the lodge to have lunch and after, go relax on a boat cruise along the impressive Kazinga Channel -renowned for its huge number of hippos, crocodiles and rich birdlife. Back to the lodge for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast and then head on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, famously known as one of the world’s premier wildlife destinations. The journey presents iconic views of Uganda’s rolling hills and traditional villages, culminating in an overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is a day for highlight of your safari awaits as you set out for a breathtaking gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi. Start with a visit at the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking rules, then get to follow your ranger to lead you through the dense forest guided by experts’ trackers. Day 9: Transfer to Rwanda – Kigali City

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Kivu, Birding and Boat Ride
Enjoy breakfast on leisure, then drive to Lake Kivu ‘’Kalongi’’, where you will experience a serene boat rise and an engaging birdwatching session. You will be able to explore the beauty of Napoleon Island and be excited about lakeside views, before settling in for an overnight stay.

Day 11: Drive to Nyungwe Forest – Canopy Walk

Day 14: Full Day Game Drive in Akagera National Park
You will spend the day exploring the Northern part of Akagera National Park on an extensive game drive. Day 15: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari

Day 16: Transfer to Kigali – City Tour/ Departure
