The 2 Days Flying in Samburu National Reserve Safari is a short safari tour package with only one night to visit the reserve. You will take a short flight from Nairobi to Samburu and then fly back to Nairobi the next morning after a game drive and breakfast.
Note: The prices vary depending on the month or season of travel, with July to October being peak season while April to Mid-June tends to be low season.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Trip starts from Nairobi
You will be collected from your hotel in Nairobi or upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to the domestic.
You will board your flight to Samburu Reserve north of Mount Kenya flying time estimates 1:5hrs.
Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight camp. Check into your luxury tent and some leisure time before a detectable lunch in the camp’s dining area. After lunch, proceed for a safari game drive later afternoon during which explore the surrounding parts of the Samburu and gain view of various wildlife.
Return to the camp by evening in time for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Intrepid Camp.

Day 2: Return to Nairobi
You will have to first go for an early morning game drive before breakfast, one of the best time of the day to spot animals. After an amazing morning game drive, head back to the camp in time for breakfast. Continue to check out.
After, say farewell to Samburu and be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flights to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, you will find your driver guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for your onward transfer to your hotel or for your scheduled flight at an international Airport.
