The 4 Days Uganda Golden Monkey Habituation Safari leads you to both Uganda’s wildlife adventure and primates. You will visit Mgahinga Gorilla National Park a home to both mountain gorillas and golden monkeys as well as various bird species. This trip also leads you to Queen Elizabeth National Park known as Uganda’s top visited game park on game drive adventure, because it hosts over 95 mammals and around 600 bird species thus making it a birders hoven.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will be picked up by our professional driver guide from the agreed point of location and then transferred to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park en route lunch. Upon arrival, you will check into the lodge late evening for dinner and overstay at Lake Chahafi resort-midrange or Travelers rest
hotel-budget.

Day 2: Golden monkey habituation in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After an early breakfast on day 2 of the 4 Days Uganda Golden Monkey Habituation Safari, carry your packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the jungle in search of the golden monkeys which last a whole day. During trekking, you will be able to view other primate species, different plant species, birds many more.
Once the golden monkeys are located, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their natural habitat which gives you a great opportunity to watch and monitor their habits, and behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, take photos, and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home after the safari.
After the encounter with the golden monkeys, you will descend back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in the golden monkey habituation and then meet up with your driver guide to drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha sector)
On the third day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will have an en-route lunch. Upon arrival, you will go for an evening game drive in the park in case you arrive in the Ishasha sector early where you will be able to watch the unique tree lions and other animal species and later connect to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ishasha Jungle lodge-midrange or Topi lodge-budget.

Day 4: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on the last day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a short morning game drive in the Ishasha sector where you will be able to spot the tree-climbing lions lying on acacia/fig tree branches. If you are lucky it’s not a guarantee that you will be able to watch them. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival,
your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your flight departure or drop you off at any place of advice.
