Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kigali, Rwanda, transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel early morning after breakfast with the help of our expert safari driver guide and then transferred to Volcanoes National Park. One of the few places in the world where you can see the mountain gorilla in their natural habitat. On arriving, you will check into your lodge, fresh up, and relax as you get ready for the next day’s activity. Have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After having breakfast at your lodge, your driver will transfer you to the park meeting point for a short briefing about gorilla trekking rules. After the briefing, you will meet up with the skilled ranger guide to group you and lead you to the gorilla family you’re assigned to. Search for them through the forest trail, and the experience can take 1 to 7 hours, depending on their movement in the forest.
When finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with them as you learn about their amazing behaviors and habits as well as capturing videos. After, hike back to the starting point to meet up with your driver-guide to connect back to the lodge to have a delicious lunch, relax. Optionally, you can go on a cultural encounter. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali, fly to either Nairobi, Kenya, or Mombasa
After breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out and transfer back to Kigali, you can choose to do a Kigali city tour -visit the Genocide memorial. Then, be transferred to the Kigali International Airport to fly to your next destination. ’Kenya. Arrive and be transferred to your booked hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Amboseli National Park – After game drive
You will be picked up from your hotel and then transferred to Amboseli National Park, famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, comprised of landscapes and open plains. Arriving for lunch, check in at the camp for a hot lunch, short rest. Then, head out for an afternoon game drive until 6:00 pm. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5: Departure
Enjoy a final morning activity in Kenya before flying back to your home country. That marks the end of the 5 Days Kenya and Rwanda Safari.
