Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kihihi airstrip and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your arrival time at Kihihi airstrip on the first day of your 5 Days Luxury Bwindi and Murchison Falls Safari Holiday, you will be picked up by our driver guide to connect to your booked lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure and in the evening enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma Haven lodge-midrange or Buhoma Lodge –Luxury

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast on the second day of your 5 Days Luxury Bwindi and Murchison Falls Safari Holiday, you will carry a packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing about their rules. After the briefing, you will be allocated to a gorilla family to trek and start gorilla trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking, you will enjoy impressive views of the bird species, animals, plants, primates like the L’hoest monkeys many others. When the gorillas are located, you will be given an hour to spend with them as you get to learn more about their habits, and behaviors, take photos, and record videos.
After the one-hour interaction with the endangered mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Departure to Kihihi airstrip
On the third day of the 5 Days Luxury Bwindi and Murchison Falls Safari Holiday, you will wake up, enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to Kihihi airstrip for your flight to Entebbe Airport.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our driver guide will pick you up to start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking and then continue the journey with another stopover in Masindi town en route lunch. After lunch, you will continue the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On arriving at the park you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will enjoy impressive views of the waterfalls, water splashes, views of bird species among others. From the top of the falls, you will drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive,
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 Days Luxury Bwindi and Murchison Falls Safari Holiday, you will meet up with your driver guide to head for the morning game drive which begins very early in the morning. During the game drive you will follow different game tracks like Buligi, Victoria, and Albert game tracks where you will view different animals like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, bird species many others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch, you will embark on an impressive boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls. The scheduled boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours and during the activity, you will have an opportunity to cruise meters away from animals such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and waterbucks which will be drinking water along the shores, view large school of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, aquatic bird species such as the King fisher’s, fish eagles, Bee-eaters, Herons, cormorants among others. After the interesting boat ride, you will meet your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala or Fly back to Entebbe Airport
On the last day of the 5 Days Luxury Bwindi and Murchison Falls Safari Holiday you will have an excellent breakfast, followed by checkout of the lodge back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. You will arrive in Kampala early evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of your convenience.
