8 Days Tanzania Safari : This 8 Days Wildlife Tanzania trip will take you to Tanzania’s finest national park for a wildlife experience. Serengeti national park which is Tanzania’s best wildlife national park has been recognized as Africa’s best national park located in the northern part of Tanzania. Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tarangire national park and Lake Manyara national park. Serengeti national park which is ranged as Tanzania’s best safari destination in Africa recognized internationally by CNN as Africa’s second best national park after Kruger national park in South Africa. The Serengeti national park covers an area of about 14,763 square kilometers with plains, kopjes, rivers, forests and woodlands in northern Tanzania. The Serengeti is home to one of nature’s most spectacular displays of the Wildebeest Migration also known as the Great Migration. The Ngorongoro conservation area is a game reserve with a large concentration of game located inside the rim of an extinct volcano covering an area of about 8,292 square kilometres of forests, savannah plains, wetlands and lake habitats on the eastern side of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera with an area size of about 260 square kilometres and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden”. Tarangire national park boasts the highest density of Elephants in Tanzania in a wild and remote wilderness area of spectacular beauty. Tarangire national park lies South East of Lake Manyara, a less crowded gem on Tanzania’s popular northern game-viewing circuit. Lake Manyara is a freshwater lake that lies within the diverse and lush Lake Manyara national park offering superb bird watching, stunning scenery and excellent game viewing. This compact game park is best known for its tree-climbing lions, healthy elephant population and thousands of flamingos. The 325 square kilometres Lake Manyara is also home to a variety of wildlife species, such as Hippo, Baboon, Buffalo, Cheetah, Masai giraffe and Impala.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, your guide in Arusha will welcome you, brief you about your safari and drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight at Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire national park
After your breakfast, you will continue your drive to Tarangire national park which begins your wildlife viewing experiences in Tanzania. After checking in at your lodge in the national park, you will prepare to have your lunch before heading out into the wilderness of the national park while on Tanzania Wildlife Safaris.
During your game drive, you will see different wildlife species grazing and roaming in the national park such as lions, giraffes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, elephants, cheetahs, impalas and a variety of bird species can also be seen especially around the Tarangire national park. As you enjoy the sunset and scenery around you, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Tarangire Roika lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara national park
Breakfast will be served at your lodge in Tarangire national park before checking out of the lodge and continuing your journey Lake Manyara national park. About two-thirds of the national park is covered by Lake Manyara which is a significant attraction in the national park which attracts a variety of wildlife species as well as different bird species. You will be driven by your guide to your lodge where you will have your lunch.
After lunch, you will have a game drive to search for wildlife species in this national park such as elephants, gazelles, buffalos, hippos, antelopes, waterbucks, hartebeests, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, elands, impalas among others. You will also see various bird species during your game drive in Lake Manyara national park. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight after your game drive at Lake Manyara Tortolise Lodge
Day 4: Drive to Serengeti national park
You will have an early breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to Serengeti national park. You will see different wildlife species during your en-route game drive in the open savannah plains on the way to your lodge. You will have lunch at your lodge as you prepare for an afternoon game drive.
During your game drive in the national park, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery such as the kopjes where lions can be seen as they watch their prey. You will also see various wildlife species such as elephants, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, antelopes, impalas among others during your game drive. You will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon lodges and Camps
Day 5 and day 6: Full day Serengeti national park
On the 5th day of your 8 Days Tanzania Safari, you will have breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for morning game drive in the savannah plains of Serengeti national park to see various wildlife species that are very active in the morning and can easily be spotted as you also enjoy the sunrise.
Some of the attractions you will visit during your visit to Serengeti national park include the retina hippo pool where you can see many hippos swimming in a pool. You will also see different predators in the savannah of this national park especially sitting on top of rock kopjes.
Your lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive. Later in the evening, you will engage in another game drive to see wildlife species such as the big five like lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, and elephants. You will also see other wildlife and bird species which include wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, kudus, hippos, buffalos among others. You will return to your lodge after your evening game drive for dinner and overnight at lodge as above
Day 7: Drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
On the 7th day of your 8 Days Tanzania Safari, after breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti national park, you will check out of your lodge and proceed for an en-route game drive on your way to the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will have an optional visit to Ol duvai gorge which is an archaeological site where evidence of early man relating to human evolution was discovered by Dr. Mary and Louis Leakey.
Your lunch will be served before you descend to the Ngorongoro crater to see different attractions such as Lake Magadi which is found at the center of the crater. As you explore the Ngorongoro crater, you will also see flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi in big numbers as well as other bird species. You will also see wildlife species in the crater area such as elephants, buffalos, rhinos, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, gazelles, kudus, predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs. You will also enjoy beautiful views of the scenery around you as you explore the Ngorongoro conservation area. You will then proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Hhando coffee lodge.
Day 8: Drive to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar
After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out of the lodge and continue your drive to Arusha where you will check-in and have your lunch. Connect to the airport to be dropped for your flight to Zanzibar (own arrangements). End of Tanzania Safari
