Queen Elizabeth National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site, located in the southwestern region of Uganda and is renowned as the top tourist safari destination on Uganda Wildlife Safari. This is because it hosts rare tree-climbing lions and a diversity of other animal species. More so, the park is home to a diversity of wildlife species with over 95 mammals and a paradise of bird species over 600 bird species. Animals to see in the park includes; elephants, kobs, waterbucks, leopards, hyenas, hippos, buffalos, tree-climbing lions, and a variety of antelopes thus making up a great home to big fours. Birds that call Queen Elizabeth national park their home include; the sitting cisticola, brown-backed scrub Robin, hooded vulture, white-backed vulture, brown-backed scrub Robin, long-created eagle, croaking cisticola, palm but culture, shoe bills, white-tailed lark, black belied bustard among others.
