Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi forest.
Depending on your point of location in Kampala or Entebbe, our professional driver-guide will pick you up and start the journey to Bwindi National Park. As you drive to Bwindi, you will have an en-route stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for photography. Proceed to Mbarara for a picnic lunch, and thereafter drive straight to the park. Arriving in the evening, check into your lodge, relax, and have dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge (luxury) or Four Gorilla Lodge – Midrange

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Breakfast will be served early at the lodge; carry your packed lunch before reporting to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and expectations. After the briefing, you will go meet the park ranger to lead you into the steep slopes of Bwindi National Park. Search for the gorilla family. Once the gorilla family is allocated, you will be given an hour to observe their behaviors and habits and enjoy taking photography. Later, return to the meeting point to receive your gorilla certificate. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe, Fly to JRO (Own Booking)
Drive Time: Approx. 8 hours; Flight option available. Book a late flight.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Entebbe. Arriving in time for your flight to JRO.
Once at the airport, you will be welcomed by our Tanzania safari guide. Transfer you to your hotel, check in and rest as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Tulia Boutique Hotel and Spa.
Day 4: Pick up, Drive to Ngorongoro, Walking Safari
After morning breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel in Arusha by our safari driver guide. Proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will engage in a walking safari. During your walking safari, expect to get aclose view of scenic nature and wildlife species. Thereafter, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Hhando Coffee Lodge
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Enjoy breakfast as you prepare to transfer to the Ngorongoro crater where you will descend 600 meters into the crater for game drive exploration. Some of the animals to see include elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, dik-diks, antelopes, and warthogs, among others.
You will also enjoy the beauty around the Ngorongoro crater during your game drive and watch various flamingos along the shores of the alkaline lake found in the crater, Lake Magadi. Later on, drive back to your lodge and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 6: Drive to Serengeti, Game Drive
After a morning breakfast at the camp, then transfer to Serengeti national park with en-route lunch. Arriving at the park with an en route game drive in an open plain to search for different wildlife. After the game drive, you will be connected to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 7: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a full-day game drive with your lunch boxes along the Seronera area. Expecting to watch a vast array of wildlife such as Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches and cheetahs. Have a break to enjoy your picnic lunch. After lunch, proceed for another game drive to the Kopjes, the weathered granite outcrops scattered around the plains, offering shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rain. After, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, then transfer to the Isebania border, from where you will meet your safari guide waiting for you. After clearing with immigration, continue a drive to Masai Mara with en-route game viewing.
Once at the lodge/camp, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge for Mid-range, Sentrim Mara Camp for Budget
Day 9: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara game reserve
Enjoy breakfast at the camp before heading out on a full day in the Masai Mara plains. During the game drive, expect to see animal species such as the large pride of lions, zebras, leopards, Elephants, giraffes among others. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and rest abit.
After lunch, head on an evening game drive in search of missed-out animals in the morning session. You may have a chance to witness the Great Wildebeest migration. If you visit between the months of July and October annually. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Maasai Cultural Experience, and departure
Enjoy morning breakfast at the lodge before embarking on the Maasai Cultural experience, where you will have a chance to learn and interact with the locals. After, you will be transferred back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped at your hotel or at the airport for a departure flight. End of safari.
