This 3 Days Uganda Semuliki Safari Tour is a short safari tour package that leads you to the western Uganda region in Bundibugyo district, close to the beautiful town of Fort Portal. Semuliki National Park is among the few top destinations for bird lovers, hosting over 410 bird species that attract many tourists to visit thus considered it as a birder paradise. The park estimates 5 to 6 hours drive from Kampala to the main destination.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Semiliki National Park
Transfer to Semliki National Park: Depending on your point of location, our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Semliki National Park with a short briefing. You will have a stopover in the beautiful Fort Portal town for an en-route lunch. After lunch, proceed to the park. Arrive at the park, check in at the lodge, and relax.
Night game drive: Later in the evening, go for a night game drive in the park, where you will be able to see nocturnal animals. Back to lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Semuliki Safari Lodge -Luxury, Ntoroko Game Lodge – Midrange, Bumaga Game Lodge – Budget Accommodation
Day 2: Explore the Park
Explore the park: Wake up, have breakfast served with tasty snacks, after drive to the park to visit the Sempaya hot spring, a hallmark attraction in Semliki. These hot springs are studded with a geyser that shoots up from the 8 meters’ hole, and the water is at a high temperature. During your visit, you can carry matooke, eggs, and boil them there. After a visit to the springs, you can go visit interesting trails where you will be able to spot various bird species and primate species to see like Red-tailed monkey, Grey-cheeked mangabey, among others. You will proceed to walk along Mendillo waterfall, where you will see classic birds, among others. Return to the lodge to have a hot lunch.
Game drive: After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive. Where you expect to see different animal species such as big cats, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, among others, drive to the Semiliki River and be able to view crocodiles and hippos. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in the same lodge.

Day 3: Back to Kampala /Airport
Back to Kampala: Wake up, enjoy your breakfast on leisure, followed by check out of the lodge and then start the journey back to Kampala ‘’5-to 6-hour drive’ ’Have an en-route picnic lunch in Fort Portal. After, proceed on the journey to Kampala to be dropped at the hotel or to be dropped off at your choice of place.
