Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

On the first day of the 7 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi safari, you will be met by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way you will have a stopover for en-route lunch and then continue the journey with great views of the landscape, tea plantations, crater lakes, Rwenzori mountain ranges with. On arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Queen Elizabeth Camp – Budget, Elephant hab lodge-midrange, Elephant Plains –Luxury

Day 2: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking experience and after noon boat cruise

After an early breakfast on the second day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive or lion tracking experience which is perfectly done in   Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to view animals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, bird species many others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will go for an interesting boat cruise on Kazinga channel where you will be able to cruise near numerous hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs along the shores, aquatic bird species, view fishermen preparing their fishing nets and others. After the boat cruise you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

On the third day of the safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will pass via Ishasha sector for a game drive where you will be able to see the tree climbing lions lying up in acacia, fig tree branches if you are lucky. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have en-route lunch and then continue the journey to Bwindi Forest National Park. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge, have dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge-midrange ,Buhoma Lodge –Luxury

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver to drive you to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will head into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking can last about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to see different bird species, other primates’ species, plant and tree species many more. Once the mountain gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a stunning chance observe them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breast feeding, playing, learn more about their behaviors and habits, take photos and record the moments to show people back home after the safari.

After an hour encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the park headquarter where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking. You will then meet up with your driver guide to go for an optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the local people, learn about their amazing culture and others. After the cultural tour, you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

Wake up have a relaxed breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to travel to Lake Mburo. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then continue to Lake Mburo National Park and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Mihingo lodge

Day 6: Full day game drive

On this day, you shall enjoy delicious breakfast and after go meet up with your driver guide to head for a morning game drive where you will be able to view animals such as zebras, buffaloes, impala, topi, waterbucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, giraffes grazing in savannah plains, view different bird, the beautiful sunrise many others.

After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for lunch where after you will relax at the lodge and later go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view some of the animals that you might have missed during the morning game drive. After the evening game drive. You will be driven to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 7: Departure to Kampala

After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 7 days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi and Lake Mburo safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to depart back to Kampala. On the way you will have a stopover for en-route lunch and another stopover at the Equator where you will be able to take photos and buy some souvenirs to take back to your beloved. Thereafter visiting the Equator proceed with the journey to Kampala and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport or drop off at hotel in Kampala or Entebbe.
