The CTC Conservation Center lies in Lukalu in Butambala district, and it’s 15 minutes away from Mpigi town. Well, Mpigi district lies 43 kilometers away from Kampala business center. The CTC Center can only be accessed by road transportation.
The drive from Kampala along Masaka Road to access the CTC Center can take about 1 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic jam on your travelling day. The road transport is quite rewarding with beautiful countryside, nature, and a stop at the equator for memorable picture taking.
Wild Animals to See at the CTC Conservation Center in Uganda
The CTC Conservation Center boasts with wide range of wild animals, including mammals, birds, and reptiles. Some of the list include; lions, side- stripped jackals, Kidepo mane -less zebras, striped hyenas, impalas, Warthogs, African golden cats, Oribis, Serval cats, water bucked, crocodiles, Uganda Kobs, lemurs, bushbabies, caracals, palm civets, snakes, leopard tortoises, bar eared foxes, Iguanas, black -backed jackals, parrots, Lake Mburo zebras, chameleons and African wild dogs among others.
What to do during your visit to the CTC Conservation Center in Uganda

This is among the few destinations to go and be allowed to feed several wild animals. Animals like lemurs -they like climbing on people as a sign of friendliness.

What are the Prices to see the wild animals at the CTC Conservation Center in Uganda?
Currently, prices at CTC Center are categorized for either adults 15 years old and above, or children should be aging between 5 to 15 years old. Payments can be made as per four different options as provided below;
Option 1:Basic tour will cost USD100 per adult and USD70 per child. Then, children below the age of five will be charged USD35, but are not allowed to get up close to the animals. Paying for this option offers a great chance to have a 2.5 to 3-hour experience of interacting with lion cubs aged 3 -6 months.
Other animal species to see include: zebras, impalas, bat-eared foxes, baby crocodiles, and tortoises. Note that there is no minimum age restriction apart from interacting with the lion cubs. Should be at least 5 years of age.
Option 2: Tourists wishing to do a full tour experience, costs USD130 per adult and USD95 per child. And children below the age of five each will be charged USD35, but are not permitted to get very close to the animals.
You will be able to watch lion cubs, lemurs from Madagascar, crocodiles, zebras, impalas, snakes, and tortoises.
Option 3: Here, adults pay USD80 per adult and USD60 per child, and offer the opportunity of getting up close with the lion cubs aged 3 to 6 months for an hour. It excludes other animals, and children allowed must be at least 5 years old.
Option 4: This costs tourists to pay USD45 per person and offers a stunning opportunity to get up close with only the lemurs from Madagascar. Then, children below the age of 5 are charged USD35 per person but are not allowed to get up close to the animals. It’s a 1-hour experience, offering you a chance to feed these primates.
