Rwanda is a landlocked country that shares boarders with countries like; Tanzania, which is located in the Eastern side, Burundi in the South, Uganda in the North, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is located in the West.

Rwanda mostly referred to as “the land of thousand hills” having one of the most lovely capitals in the entire of Africa known as Kigali with an estimated population number of over 3 million people as well as called an economic hub in the country.

Volcanoes National Park: Known for its mountain gorilla population and stunning volcanic landscapes.It is part of the larger Virunga Massif, which extends into Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo the national park covers a total surface area of about 160 square kilometers, commonly visited because of its large numbers of endangered mountain gorilla species and the golden monkeys and also known to have around 178 bird species, and also 13 primate species and 16 subspecies.
Mukuru- Gishwati National park: Gishwati national park is located in the Western region in Rwanda and it lies with four districts which include; Rubavu, Nyabihu, Ngororero, Rutsiro composed of Gishwati forest and Mukuru forest covering a total area of about 992.48ha. Mukuru-Gishwati national park is also well known for its wide range of flora and fauna, which acts as a natural habitat to many wildlife species such as; primates, mammals like chimpanzees and many others.
Nyungwe Forest National Park: This Park is situated in the southwestern part of Rwanda and is renowned for its pristine montane rainforest. It is home to a variety of primates, including chimpanzees, as well as numerous bird species which include; large numbers of chimpanzee species, 12 primate species, 75 mammal species, 16 endemic species and it also harbors around 300 bird species always blesses tourists with opportunities to embark on very many interesting activities like; hiking, canopy walking, bird watching, biking on the beautiful terrain, chimpanzee trekking, relaxing by the waterfalls while enjoying the beautiful and fresh atmosphere
Akagera National Park: Located in the east of Rwanda and covering a total surface area of about 1,085 square kilometers, Akagera is known for its diverse ecosystems, including savannas, lakes, and wetlands. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and numerous bird species. Visiting in this parks gives you chances to engage in many interesting activities like; game drives, guided nature walks, bird watching, chimpanzee trekking and many others.
