1 Day Source of the Nile Tour

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja

Depending on your location in Entebbe, you will be welcomed by our expert driver guide who will brief you about the 1 Day Source of the Nile Tour and then start the journey to Jinja in Eastern Uganda. On the way you will have a stopover in Mabira forest where you will have stop to engage in one of the activities done here like zip-lining. Zip lining is done in tropical rainforests. After zip lining experience, you will proceed to Jinja the main safari location, with rewarding views of the beautiful scenery, tea and sugar cane plantations, and others along the way.

Water Rafting in Jinja

Upon arrival, you will have lunch and thereafter go for the source of the Nile boat cruise which takes about 1 to 2 hours. After the boat cruise, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a city tour in Jinja town where you will walk towards the Jinja railway station for enjoyment – visit the Gandhi statue, and craft shops where you will buy some beautiful souvenirs. After the city tour, you will start the journey back to Entebbe, and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel in Entebbe or at Entebbe International Airport.
