Detailed Itinerary
1 Day: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Mburo Safaris’’3 to 4hrs’’
Depending on your location in Kampala or Entebbe, you will be picked at 6:30am by our professional driver guide and drives you to western part of Uganda to Lake Mburo National Park. You will be briefed about the 1-day safari, as you proceed a drive to the park with a stopover at the Equator for amazing chance to enjoy photography while standing in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time. Continue a drive through the savannah grassland dotted with settlements, plantations and several herds of local long horned Ankole cattle endemics to this part of the country.
Arrive at the park, go for a game drive in search for wildlife species like zebras, elands, impala, antelopes, African buffalo, warthogs, hippos, crocodiles among others. You will also be able to watch variety of bird species. Have lunch and after lunch.
Then proceed, with the afternoon boat cruise on the Lake Mburo where you will be able to adventure lots of antelopes and other animals such as crocodiles, impalas and predators to see including lion, leopards, hyenas, jackals and various bird species.
After a great big day in Lake Mburo National Park, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe or any place of advice. Arriving in the late evening. That marks the end of the safari.
