Day 1: Pick up at Serval and drive to Ngorongoro conservation area
On day 1 of the 1 Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari, you will be picked up at 5:30 am from Serval Wildlife Sanctuary. Meet your driver and connect to Arusha then set off to the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is about a 3-4 hour drive from Arusha.
Upon arrival, connect for a full-day game drive 600 meters into the crater, home to various wildlife species ‘’the big 5’’ which includes lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, and elephants. Other wildlife species in Ngorongoro include hyenas, wildebeests, antelopes, cheetahs, antelopes, zebras, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, and many more. There are also different bird species, which can be spotted around the crater like ostriches as well as flamingos commonly seen along the shores of Lake Magadi. After your packed lunch, head on your journey back to Arusha. The driver will drop you off at any advised place in Arusha.
