Day 1: Pick up and drive to Tarangire National Park
On day 1 of the 2 Days Tanzania Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater Safari, after morning breakfast, you will be picked up in Arusha or Moshi by our expert safari guide and driver. Then he will explain a short briefing info about the safari. Thereafter, you will be driven to the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor.
The park’s natural vegetation is mainly dots of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The rivers and the swamps inside the park act as a source of water for wild animals during Tanzania’s dry season.
During your game drive viewing, just keep your eyes wide open with a gainful view of the largest elephant herds in Africa and other animals to see including hartebeests, gazelles and exotic birds like the battler and martial eagle.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. After lunch, continue for an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River which is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.
Return to your Hotel at the end of the day for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we descend to 600 meters into this impressive crater for a morning with half day game drive.
Ngorongoro Crater stands as one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world. The crater is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including the black rhino.
The crater is one of the most famous and remarkable of Tanzania’s National Parks because the area harbors the greatest numbers of different animal species including; herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo and giant African elephants. It is home to a dense population of predators which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever elusive leopard.
During your game adventure here, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater. After, travel back to Moshi or Arusha and that marks the end of your 2 Days Tanzania Tarangire & Ngorongoro Crater Safari adventure.
