Our 3 Days Safari to Mount Elgon National Park is well designed, focuses on hiking and exploring the Sipi Falls Area, where tourists can hike to one or more of the Sipi Falls, explore Kapkwai Forest, and experience mountain hiking trails around the base of the mountain. This trip typically involves activities like guided nature hikes, birding as well as cave exploration at places like the Koka caves.
Mount Elgon National Park is renowned for its ancient, extinct volcano, which features the world’s largest volcanic caldera, a diverse ecosystem comprising rainforest to alpine moorlands, rich cultural heritage with the Bagisu and Sabinyu tribes, and a variety of wildlife like elephants and primates, as well as numerous bird species. The park has unique features, including a UNESCO-designated biosphere, less crowded hiking trails, and cultural significance to the Bagisu people, who consider the mountain their ancestral home.
