Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Serengeti National Park, evening game drive
This 1st day of your 3 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari has you being picked up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport by our Tanzania safari driver guide. He will brief you about the safari and then proceed to transfer you to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s premium national park from where the great wildebeest migration takes place, annually. The drive to Serengeti from Arusha takes about 5 hours. You will reach the park just in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge, enjoy your lunch and then get to relax at the lodge in the afternoon. Later, you shall head out for an evening game drive in Serengeti National Park. Enjoy game viewing of the big five and other wild animals and birds. Marvel at the bright yellow and red sunset over the savannah plains of the Serengeti. Head back to the lodge thereafter for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day Serengeti National Park exploration, transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After your breakfast at the lodge, you shall head out for a full day Serengeti National Park exploration with your picnic lunch packed. After you have enjoyed game viewing of the Serengeti to the fullest, enjoy your lunch in a picnic site with great scenery. After, you shall leave Serengeti National Park for a transfer to Ngorongoro Crater with an optional stop over at the Olduvai Gorge, a canyon with a river that is 100 meters deep. You shall arrive at the Ngorongoro crater rim in the evening. Check in at the lodge, relax as you await dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater, Departure
On this last day of your 3 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari, you shall wake up early for an early morning cup of tea/coffee and then head out for a game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing and then return to the lodge for a late morning breakfast. After, check out of the lodge with your packed lunch and head to the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of tracking game in the crater floor. Lunch will be enjoyed as a picnic at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site. After, you shall depart for Arusha and be dropped at your hotel of stay or at the airport for an outbound flight.
