Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Masai Mara national reserve
- On the 1st day of the safari you will be picked from your lodge in Nairobi after breakfast by your safari driver and set off for Masai Mara national reserve, on your way you will you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for drooling views of the rift valley escarpments and the scent mount Longonot from a distance. The rift valley is offers opportunities of photography and bird watching, you will have another stopover in Narok for lunch and buy souvenirs, after lunch you will proceed to the reserve and when you get in the park you will have head to your camp. in the evening you will have bush dinner which is a magical experience and spend the night.

Day 2: Full day game drives in Masai Mara national reserve
- On 2nd day of the safari you will have early morning breakfast and drive to the reserve for a full day of game drive in the magnificent landscape of Masai, on the game drive you will enjoy amazing scenery of landscapes and peak of mountain Kilimanjaro from a distance. You will spot many animals as they are just waking up such as lions, elephants, leopards, Thomson’s gazelle, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, rhinos, jackals, cheetahs, different species of antelopes and many more in the open plains. At lunch you will have picnic lunch at the banks of Mara River and in the afternoon you will go for another game drive touring other sections of the reserve. In the evening you will drive back to your cam, have bush dinner which is another exciting experience and stay overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drives Masai village visit in the afternoon
- On the 3rd day of the safari, you will wake up early for breakfast then drive to the reserve for a morning game drive, Masai Mara is a fascinating area dominated by thick grassland which makes game viewing a great experience. the plains of the park consists of trials that are used on game drive experience and while on them you spot many animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, wildebeests, hartebeests in large numbers. These animals are mostly spotted at the banks of Mara river as they come to cool off and quench their thirst, you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a visit in the Masai community where you will enjoy sights of the local manyattas, local clothing code in shukas be entertained by local dances and songs and many local activities.

Day 4: Hot air balloon safari and transfer back to Nairobi
- On the 4th and day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and drive the park for an air balloon safari experience, hot air balloon offers a ride in the sky above the plains of Masai Mara national reserve offering aerial views of the magnificent Masai landscape, Mara river, animals like wildebeests, hartebeests, elephants, lions and many more. After the experience, you will drive back to your lodge, pack your stuff and rest as you wait for lunch, after lunch, you will set off for Nairobi. Once in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at the hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
