Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Goma city for overnight

Arrival in Kigali and drive to Goma city: As soon as you land at Kigali international airport on day 1 of 5 days the Great Ape Safari (Chimpanzee and Gorilla trekking), our company representative will be waiting to receive into Rwanda the land of a thousand hills, take you on a briefing then be driven to a hotel to freshen up and have lunch. After lunch, embark on a drive to Goma city situated in Democratic Republic of Congo. You will first obtain the gorilla trekking permits and chimpanzee trekking permit before proceeding to your lodge for check in, dinner and overnight rest. Keep in mind that the moment you cross over from Rwanda to Congo, the Rwanda visa expires thus there is a need to apply for another visa that will be obtaining on your way back from Congo Rwanda.
