Detailed itinerary for the safari
Day 1: transfer to Masai mara national reserve
On the first day of the safari you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi after morning breakfast by 8 am, your safari driver will brief you about the safari and them embark on your drive to masai mara national reserve. From Nairobi city to Masai mara national reserve it is a drive of 6 hours, when you reach in the park you check into your lodge, have lunch as you prepare yourself for an afternoon game drive. On the game drive be ready to enjoy the sights of many animals such as leopards, lions, buffaloes, hartebeests, zebras, antelopes, and many more. After the game drive you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: hot air balloon experience and afternoon game drive
On the second day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and drive to the park for an amazing hot air balloon experience. Hot air balloon experience is an amazing experience where you enjoying an aerial view of animals Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Rhino, Elephant and many more. If you visit the park in the right time for the annual wildebeest migration you will get to enjoy the spectacular view of hundreds of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles as they cross Masai river. After the hot air balloon safari you will have picnic lunch as you enjoy the beautiful nature of the park, in the afternoon you will have an afternoon game drive in the short savannah plains of the park. As you drive through the park you encounter many animals and birds most especially around Mara River, after the game drive you will drive back to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: full day Masai mara exploration
On the third day of the safari you are to have a full day of adventure in the plains of Masai mara national reserve, you will wake up early in the morning for early morning game drive. On the drive you will see many animals as morning is the best time to enjoy sights of animals in large numbers before they disperse because of the sunlight, after the early morning game drive you will go back to your lodge for a late breakfast then rest. After breakfast you can decide to chill at your lodge, go for swimming and in the afternoon you will drive back to the plains of the park for a combined afternoon and night game drive. On the afternoon game drive you will see many animals such as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Rhino, Elephant and many more grazing in the plains in the park and in the evening you will go for an evening game drive, with the help of a spotlight you get to see many animals most especially predators such as lions, leopards, cheetah as they look for their predators. After the drive you will go back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 4: Masai community encounter and nature walk
On the third day of the safari you are to wake up not as early as the other days, you will have breakfast visit the Masai local community which are situated on the outskirts of the park for a cultural encounter experience. This experience offers you the best of authentic African culture experience where you will be entertained by cultural dances and songs, the Masai people are nomadic warrior tribe of Kenya and will on your visit you will interact with the locals, see the locally built manyattas using local materials and many more. After the experience you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will embark on a nature walk experience in the plains of the park, on this experience you will the mara river where you will see many animals and the scenic views of the river. At the end of the experience you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner in the evening and stay overnight.
Day 5: transfer back to Nairobi
On the fifth and last day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning for morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and drive to the park for an morning game drive, on this drive you will visit regions of the park you had not visited, see many animals and after the drive you will exit the park and head for Nairobi. When you reach Nairobi you will have lunch and then be dropped off either at your hotel or be transferred to jomo Kenyatta international airport for departure thus the end of your safari.
