Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Lake Baringo
- The 1st day of the Kenya safari is for transfer from Nairobi to Lake Baringo, after morning breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi you will meet your safari driver, check out and embark on your journey to Lake Baringo which is a drive of about 4-5 hours. Lake Baringo is a rift valley lake situated in the most region of the Kenyan rift valley lieing at the elevation of 970 meters above sea level with a surface area of 130 square kilometers. Lake Baringo is a great bird watching site as it is a host to over 470 bird species including flamingoes, you will reach Lake Baringo in time for lunch which you will have after checking in your lodge. In the afternoon you will go for a bat ride on the calm waters of the Lake Baringo, on the boat ride you will spot many birds such as flamingoes, pelicans, fish eagles, verreaux’s eagle, African fish eagles, marabou storks, Shikra, white faced scops owl and crocodiles and hyrax. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru
- Transfer to Lake Nakuru: The second day of the Kenya safari is for transfer from Lake Baringo to Lake Nakuru, after morning breakfast with all your belongings you will go on a visit to hot spring and geysers situated in the same area of the lake where you will take beautiful pictures. Then you will embark on your journey which is a drive of 2-3 hours to Lake Nakuru national park which is found on the floor of the great rift valley, lake Nakuru national park is a great birding site as it is a home to over 450 bird species and wildlife habitat to over 53 mammal species. When you arrive in the park you will go on a visit to the amazing lake Nakuru where you will sight large flock of flamingoes creating a pink shade at the lake, pelicans, herons, kingfishers and many animals like white rhinos, waterbucks, antelopes as they come to drink water. in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Full day in Lake Nakuru National park
- Full day in Lake Nakuru National park: The 3rd of the safari is for a full day in Lake Nakuru national park, after morning breakfast you will meet your safari drive and head to Lake Nakuru national park for a full day of exploring the park and its numerous attractions. Spending a full day in the park offers ample time to tour its every section, you will drive through the savannah and yellow acacia woodlands spotting animals like lions, leopards, waterbucks, rock hyrax, striped hyena, wildcat, golden cat, bat-eared fox, impala, grant gazelle, rhinos and many more. You will head back to your lodge for lunch and then return to the park for a nature walk visiting Makalia falls, in this sight you will enjoy amazing views of the water falling on hard rocks and get to swim in a pool created by the flowing water. In the evening you will have dinner and stay overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara national reserve
- Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara: The 4th day of the safari is for transfer from Lake Nakuru national park to Masai national reserve, after morning breakfast at your lodge and checking out, you will meet your safari driver and embark on a journey of 5-6 hours to Masai Mara national reserve. Masai Mara is an incredible national park popular for experiencing the great wildebeest migration which involves the migration of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles from Serengeti national park to Masai Mara national reserve with a river crossing at Mara River. You will arrive in the park in time for lunch which you will have at your lodge following your checking in, you will have an afternoon of resting and in the evening you will go for an evening game drive which is an opportunity for you to see nocturnal animals and predators such as hippos, lions, leopards, porcupines, civet cats, white-tailed mongoose, aardvark, and cape hares. From the mind-blowing experience, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner at stay overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and Masai community visit

You will also spot many birds and enjoy sights of the amazing beautiful landscape, for lunch you will drive back to your lodge and in afternoon you will go on a visit to the Masai community for a cultural tour. The Masai people are the early inhabitant of the area of Masai Mara and currently live in the communities situated on the outskirts of the park, while in this community you will enjoy local practices like dance and drama, livestock rearing, milking process, the bomas built using local materials and many more. In the evening you will have dinner at your lodge and stay overnight.

Day 6: Depart for Nairobi

When you arrive in Nairobi you will have lunch and then be dropped off either at your lodge or at the airport for your departure flight.
