Detailed itinerary for 6 Days Murchison Falls and White Water Rafting Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park,
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport or Kampala, you will be picked up by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then set off to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes between 5 to 6 hours’ drive inclusive stopover in Masindi town for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Murchison falls national park and upon arrival you will drive directly to the top of the falls where you will enjoy views of the waterfall, water splashes, listen to the thundering falls among others. From the top of the falls, you will embark for an evening game drive if time allows. Then, connect for dinner and overnight stay at Sambiya river lodge-midrange, Nile Safari Lodge –Luxury

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for the morning game drive where you will be able to sport animals like elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, leopards many others. After the game drive, return to the lodge to have lunch.
After lunch, you will head for an amazing boat cruise adventure to the bottom of the falls on River Nile. The boat ride takes about 2 hours while enjoying water ride experience. During this activity you will be able to view various animals such as the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes among others along the water shores, view wide number of hippos and crocodiles in water, water birds many more. After the boat cruise, you will return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest
Have early breakfast on the third day of the safari, then carry packed lunchboxes and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Budongo forest for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest which takes between 2 to 5 hours depending on where they are located the previous day. During trekking, you will be able to adventure other wildlife species and once the chimpanzees are located you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you great chance to learn about their behaviors, watch them breastfeed, feed, play, rest, take photos and record the moments.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will hike back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and drives you back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Jinja via ziwa rhino tracking
On the fourth day of the safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive back to Kampala. On your way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will participate in rhino tracking and another stop over for en-route lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Jinja and upon arrival you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lemala Wild waters lodge

Day 5: White water rafting
Have delicious breakfast, meet your driver and connect for a water rafting experience on the Nile, it’s a full-day activity. You will first report for briefing then be provided with rafting gears for an incredible activity. After rafting, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 6: Source of the Nile boat cruise, Quad biking and departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to head for an impressive boat cruise to the source of the Nile where after you will go for Quad biking adventure along the Nile in the countryside where you will walk through the local communities, farmlands among others. After Quad biking, you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of choice.
