Detailed Itinerary for
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On your first day of the safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be able to spot the famous tree climbing lions which will be lazily lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have lunch and then continue the journey to the park. Arrive and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Safari Lodge – Luxury, Ruhija gorilla mist camp-midrange or Bakiga lodge -budget.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Rushaga sector
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which can last 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different birds, plants many others. Once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend an hour with them in their natural environment which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Rushaga sector in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.On arriving , you will check into your booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Four Gorilla Lodge –Luxury ,Ichumbi lodge-midrange ,Rushaga gorilla haven lodge-budget.

Day 3: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up enjoy an early breakfast, after you will carry a packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during gorilla trekking. After the briefing ,you will join a team of researchers, scientist, park guides many others and start trekking. Gorilla habituation experience is a full day activity and during trekking you will be able to view other wildlife and small primates species among others.
Once the gorillas under habituation process are found you will be allowed four hours to spend with them in their natural habitat with a chance to learn and monitor their habits, behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, play, engage in the naming process, take photos many others. After the face to face interacting with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat cruise
You will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale which is the deepest lake in Uganda and second largest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
After lunch, you will go for memorable boat cruise where you will enjoy views of beautiful scenery, explore some of the 29 islands such as the punishment island where girls who got pregnant were left to die as a punishment, view terraced farmlands, bird species many more. After boat cruise ,you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi eco lodge-budget or Arcadia Lodge – midrange

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park-afternoon boat cruise
Start your day with an early morning breakfast and after set off to Lake Mburo National Park. On the way you will enjoy marvelous views and upon arrival in the park you will have lunch at the lodge where after you will go for afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo which will give you perfect sightseeing of Crocodiles and Hippos. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mihindo Lodge –Luxury ,Arcadia Lodge Lake Mburo for mid-range or Eagles Nest lodge for budget

Day 6: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala/Entebbe
Early morning, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a game drive adventure where you will be able to view different animal species like Zebras, Buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, topi, elands and others. After the game drive, you will drive out of the park and set off back to Kampala with en-route lunch at the Equator where you will also take photographs, view the Royal drum Village at Mpambire for souvenirs. Continue to Kampala and drop-off at Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
