Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Rhino trekking and transfer to Murchison falls National Park
White rhino trekking and transfer to Murchison falls national park: On day 1 of the 8 Days Uganda Wildlife & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari, you will start your safari with a hotel or airport pic up by our company representative who will be your safari driver throughout this trip and embark on a journey to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for trekking that lasts about 1-3 hours. After trekking rhinos, you will exit the sanctuary and head to Masindi for lunch after which the journey proceeds to Murchison falls national park one of the oldest and yet the most visited in Uganda due to existence of the world’s most powerful waterfall as well as the big 4 of the big 5 African game. Upon arrival at the park, you will proceed with your journey via top of waterfalls as you head to your booked lodge for check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
Game drive and boat cruise: After an early breakfast on day 2 of the 8 Days Uganda Wildlife & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari, enjoy a thrilling game drive in the biggest savanna park where you will have an opportunity to spend at least a half day exploring the beauty of the park while spotting different fauna and flora species including the hunters, nocturnal mammals and all grazing mammals that are seen enjoying fresh vegetation cover. Upon finishing game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and spend your afternoon on a boat cruise to view the waterfall.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
Transfer to Kibale forest national park: On day 3 of 8 days Murchison falls, Semliki, Kibale and Queen Wildlife safari tour, enjoy your relaxed breakfast then check out of the lodge and start the journey to Kibale forest national park a home to 13 primate species. Being a long journey drive, you stopover for an enroute lunch and proceed to the park arriving in the evening to check in your lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Semliki national park
Chimpanzee trekking: After breakfast on day 4 of 8 days Murchison falls, Semliki, Kibale and Queen Wildlife safari tour, pack enough drinking water and snack then head to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu for a pre chimpanzee trek briefing where you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts. Hire a porter and off to the forest to search for the habituated chimpanzees in their natural habitats while spotting other different primate species since the forest harbors 13 primate species. The trek takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on the movement of chimpanzees. You will then spend one hour in their presence then exit the forest and return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge and be driven to Semliki national park where you will spend your overnight at the foot of Rwenzori Mountain ranges.

Day 5: Sempaya hot springs and Lake Albert boat cruise
Sempaya hot spring and boat cruise: After breakfast on day 5 of 8 days Murchison falls, Semliki, Kibale and Queen Wildlife safari tour, meet the local guide for a guided walk to the hot springs while spotting several species of fauna and flora along the trail. Upon arriving at the hot springs, try to boil an egg and in a few minutes it will be hard boiled. Trail back to your lodge for lunch and return for an evening boat ride along Lake Albert where you will spot aquatic wildlife including mammals and birds.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Game drive and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park: On day 6 of 8 days Murchison falls, Semliki, Kibale and Queen Wildlife safari tour, head out for an early morning game drive in Semliki national park after which you will return to your lodge for breakfast then check out and start the journey to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to Kazinga channel and tree climbing lions that are only spotted in two destinations that is uganda in queen Elizabeth national park and Lake Manyara national park in Tanzania. Upon arrival, proceed to check in your lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park

Return to your lodge for lunch and head out for a drive to Kazinga channel where you will be cruising while watching a huge population of hippos and other aquatic wildlife.

Day 8: Game drive in Ishasha and drive to Kampala
Game drive and departures: After breakfast on day 8 of 8 days Murchison falls, Semliki, Kibale and Queen Wildlife safari tour, head to Ishasha sector for a game drive to spot tree-climbing lions after which you will exit the park and be driven back to Kampala with an enroute lunch. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at your lodge or Entebbe international airport for a departure.
