Aberdare national park is located in the central region of Kenya and it is easily accessed because it is situated just about 164 kilometers away from Nairobi city, which is considered the capital city of the country. In addition, this national park was first established as a national park in 1950 and it stands at elevated area between 2000 meters and 4000 meters above the sea level.
