However, Lake Mburo National Park lies in Nyabushozi County in Kiruhura district near Mbarara in Uganda, approximately 260 kilometers by road west of Kampala. The park was established in 1983 and governed by ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority and is home to wildlife species like zebra, impala, warthogs, common eland, hippopotamus, African buffalo and predators to see on visit includes lions, leopards, hyenas, genets, civets, jackals, serval cats and home to over 300 bird species.

Cycling at the park
This is an exciting activity that takes you to interesting trails within the park surrounded with beautiful nature to spot like animal species as well as riding around the community which can take 2 to 3 hours’ life experience.
