Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge; Is a jungle hugged designer perched on pristine rugged hilltop above the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest overlooking the vast Virunga Mountain ranges quite an ideal place.
However, the lodge offers 12 comfortable rooms in 9 residences with full quality amenities divided into three two -bedroom family villas and six garden cottages.
Each cottage features with bedroom, en suite bathroom with a walk in shower living area with a fire place and suitable chairs for the guest to enjoy the golden fire glow. Lounge chairs on the outdoor verandas also give a rewarding vantage point to celebrate the constantly changing Bwindi views.
It is so interesting to enjoy this vast nature in Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, an Africa bush wonderland and let the landscape do the showing off. The villa rooms have breathtaking views over a remarkable Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the garden chalets soar with great views of the Virunga mountain range. Touring around is great experience of rickety walkways, dramatic black volcano rock finishing as well as constant natural freshness in the middle of the dense forest.

The lodge sits a 10-minute walk from the Nkuringo sector trailhead where gorilla trekking excursion is done on daily basis. It is also a 30-minute drive from the lodge in Rushaga sector trailhead which is commonly preferred for the gorilla habituation experience that allows visitors at least more hours with a semi-habituated gorilla family.

They include; Gorilla trekking, Bird watching, Fine Dining, Garden tours, Massages, Guided walks, Batwa cultural dances, storytelling evenings, High tea, Nature History tours among others.
Gorilla trekking as the main done activity at Nkuringo Bwindi Safari lodge which starts early in the morning after briefing about rules and regulations of trekking You will then head out to the forest trail head in search for gorillas .You will be grouped in 8 individuals with a park ranger who allocates you to the assigned gorilla group .Gorilla trekking is a half day done activity .Once you locate the gorilla group you’re trekking ,one hour is given to spend with gorillas to experience their lovely life style and memorable adventure.
The lodge also offers privately hidden away in lush green garden, each one of the 6 cottages individually built with volcano stone, crafted with African décor, spacious bathroom, a fire place for colder nights and furniture. powered with solar and built with a rewarding veranda that overlooks the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The garden cottage is an ideal for a solo traveler or a couple on vacation.

Each room is independent with a private bathroom, sitting area and fire place for colder night gathering to the clients.
