Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
On day 1 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be picked up by the hotel representative driver guide to drive you to your reserved hotel in Entebbe. Arrive, check into the hotel, rest, dinner and overnight stay at Protea Marriot Hotel –Entebbe for Luxury, Best Western Hotel for Mid-range

Day 2: Rhino Trekking –Murchison Falls National Park
On day 2 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, you will be picked up early in the morning after your breakfast and proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. From Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park covers about 4 to 5 hours’ drive. After tracking, take a drive to Murchison Falls National for an en-route lunch.
After lunch, proceed a drive to the park with a visit to the top of the falls before you proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nile Safari Lodge –Luxury, Pakuba Safari Lodge – Mid-range

Day 3: Morning Game drive and launch cruise
Early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive at the delta where you will be able to spot various wild animal species such as elephants, giraffes, lions, and Uganda kobs among others.
Return and have lunch then at 2 pm, you will embark on a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippos and serried ranges of crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as a number of different species getting down to drink & bathe. After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. Return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above.

Day 4: Transfer to Toro Semiliki Reserve –Evening game drive
On day 4 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, after a relaxed breakfast, then drive to Semiliki National Park with lunch en route in Fort Portal town. Proceed a drive to Semiliki with an en-route stop for pictures and views of the craters. Upon arrival at the reserve, enjoy a game drive while connecting to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu Safari Lodge –Luxury, Chimpanzee Safari Lodge – Midrange

Day 5: Go visit the hot springs and Amabere caves and crater lakes
On day 5 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, you will have breakfast, then be transferred to Semuliki National Park’s headquarters for registration, and after visiting the hot springs of Sempaya and the pygmies at their new settlement at Ntandi. Thereafter, drive back to Fort Portal Town to visit Amabere caves and waterfalls. After, drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi swamp walk
On day 6 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, have breakfast and drive to Kibale Forest National Park– the magical safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Arrive in Fort Portal town at a good time for lunch, then connect for a guided nature walk at Bigodi Swamp for about 2 hours. Then drive to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu Lodge – luxury.
Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 7 of the 11 Days Uganda Safaris, after breakfast, drive to the park quarter for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking rules and regulations with your packed food and water. Meet your guide to accompany you in the rainforest to start searching for the chimpanzee. The trek takes between 2 to 5 hours to find the chimpanzees. On seeing them, you will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees while enjoying a photoshoot.
After tracking, head on a 3-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Fort Portal with en-route lunch. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Plains Lodge for luxury, Elephant Habs – Midrange.

Day 8: Morning game drive and Boat cruise
Enjoy breakfast early morning, and go for a lion-tracking experience where you are guaranteed to view these kings of the jungle. You will also enjoy an en-route game drive at the Kisenyi area where you will adventure a good number of wildlife like Elephants, Buffaloes, and all species of antelopes.
After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the impressive Kazinga channel that links with Lake Edward/George. During your boat cruise trip expect to enjoy wildlife and water bird viewing among others. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, drive out of the Queen and drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of Uganda Mountain Gorillas) en-route via Ishasha sector for chances of adventuring the unique tree-climbing lions. Have en-route lunch. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Lodge –Luxury, Buhoma Haven Lodge – Midrange.

Day 10: Gorilla trekking experience.
Wake up early, have breakfast, and connect to park headquarters with your packed food and water. You will be briefed about the gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After, head out into the forest to look for the assigned gorilla group. The hike can take anything from 2 to 7 hours. Once you access the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Return to the lodge to unwind and have dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 11: Departure to Kampala /Entebbe
After laziness morning sweet aroma is well served at the lodge, check out and start the journey back to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe, enjoy picture taking, and buy craft materials to carry back as well as en-route lunch. On arriving in Kampala you will be dropped off at your hotel or be driven to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight back home. End of the safari with Achieve Global Safaris.
