Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Hotel
On day 1 of the 12 Days Uganda and Zanzibar Beach Holidays, upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our safari driver briefing you about the safari as he drives you to your booked hotel. Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 2 of the 12 Days Uganda and Zanzibar Beach Holidays, depending on your location in Kampala, you will be welcomed by our professional safari driver guide who will then transfer to Bwindi National Park which is positioned in the southwestern region of the country. As you drive there, along the way, you will have a stopover at the equator where you will be able to take photographs visit the craft shop, and proceed with lunch en route. On arrival at the park in Kisoro district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Have breakfast and drive to park offices for a briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is about 2-8 hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to watch and take memorable photographs at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to drive you back to the lodge for restful. Or, you can opt to go for a community walk around the park. Back for the dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive
After relaxed breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park home to the rare tree climbing lions. This is a 4 to 5 hours’ journey with stopover lunch via the Ishasha sector. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and have lunch in Ishasha where you will also adventure a game drive in the area finding the tree climbing lions and other available animals. Thereafter drive to your booked lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hub Lodge for mid-range/Elephant Plains Lodge for luxury/Kazinga Wilderness camp for budget
Day 4: Game Drive in the Kasenyi area and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Wake up and go for early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, after morning breakfast. During your game drive, expect to see wildlife including African elephants, Lions, buffalos, antelopes, and impalas, among others, and a lot of birds, and if you’re lucky can spot leopards. Return to the lodge for rest and enjoy your lunch.
Later, go for an afternoon boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see numerous bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles among others. The Kazinga channel hosts the highest population of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the evening and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.
Day 5: Transfer back to Entebbe
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast. Meet your driver to drive back to Kampala. It takes about 6-7 hours’ drive with en-route lunch in Mbarara town and Equator. Day 6: Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking)
You will wake up, and have breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your driver guide will drive you to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. You will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar. Upon arrival and be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach.

Day 7: Stone Town, Prison Island, and Spice Tour
You will also take a private boat from Stone Town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will be able to see the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. Take part in a boat cruise from Changuu Island back to Stone Town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices such as cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night as above.
Day 8: Safari Blue experience
You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island which is a truly awesome experience sailing in the beautiful traditional Dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride, delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, snorkeling and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 9, 10, 11: Zanzibar Beach Experience

Your breakfast will be served at your hotel in Zanzibar as you prepare for your drive to the airport, which marks the end of the 12 Days Uganda and Zanzibar Beach Holidays.
