The 3 Day Rwanda Big Five Animal Tour takes you to Akagera National Park, home to all the big five animals such as lions, elephants, leopards, Buffaloes and Rhinoceros. It is also a protected area that accommodates a number of plant species, bird species and aquatic species, among others.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Akagera National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport or at your hotel in Kigali, our company safari driver will pick you up and gives you a pre-briefing of the trip and thereafter, drives you at the park depending on your arrival time. Or You will be picked up from the Airport and driven you to the hotel for an overnight stay as you get ready for your next day. Have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive in Akagera National Park
Wake up early at around 5:00 am and then drive a 3-hour to access the park main entrance. Arrive at 8:00 am and go explore this savanna land where you will watch different species of wildlife in your trails, including the big five animals. After the morning game drive, drive to connect to your booked lodge in the park for a delicious lunch.
Later, go for an afternoon game drive explore till evening. After a remarkable game drive, connect at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Departure to Kigali
Wake up on lazy morning, enjoy tasty breakfast and then drive out of the park and be transferred back to Kigali International airport for your departure flight or be dropped at any advised place.
