Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Kigali City Tour
Kigali City Tour: On your first day of the safari,you will be picked by our professional safari driver guide from hotel, or airport’’ brief you about the 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. Then after you will start a tour of Kigali city Rwanda’s capital city including a visit to the famous Gisozi genocide memorial site where you will be able to learn on how thousands of people lost their lives in the year 1994, a true story which is resistible.
You will also visit the local markets where you can enjoy buying fresh fruits, visit the king palace, take a visit to Ihema arts center where you will get a stunning displayed historical gallery, if time allows. Enjoy your lunch.
After lunch, you will begin the 2-hour drive journey to the famous Volcanoes National Park while driving through the scenic mountainous countryside along the way . Arrive at the park late evening, check in your booked lodge, and rest as you prepare for the next day’s activity. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day2: Gorilla Trekking –Volcanoes National Park Rwanda
Gorilla Trekking: On 2 days of 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari. Wake up early in the morning enjoy your heavy breakfast served at the lodge and packed lunch boxes. Your safari driver guide will pick you up and drives you to the park headquarter Musanze in Kinigi at 7 am.
The park ranger will take you through a short briefing of about 30 minutes. After the briefing, you will be grouped into a group of 8 people in your assigned gorilla family – group but the selection of the gorilla family must be based on body fitness. You will be accompanied by the park ranger to search for gorillas and the activity can take about 30 to 7 hours, depending on their location in their natural environment.
Once you find the gorilla family you’re assigned to, you will be allowed one hour to spend with them as they behave, feed, play and survive in the forest.
After trekking, you will drive back to the park headquarters and then connect to a visit to Iby’Iwacu cultural village which lies in Musanze near the Volcanoes National Park.
On your visit, you will get to interact with the Rwandan people and enjoy their beautiful traditional dance and songs. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Note; Gorilla trekking in Rwanda can be challenging but the experience is memorable.

Day 3: Departure to Kigali or Kigali Airport
After morning breakfast as you view the beautiful nature around the lodge. Thereafter, you will check out of the lodge and drive back to Kigali to be dropped off at your hotel or in the Kigali at your hotel. If time allows, you can do Kigali City Tour on your last day.
