SSesse Island is one among the few stunning Island on the Lake Victoria and Ssese Islands are collection of over 84 Islands in Lake Victoria, located in Kalangala district and it is 51 kilometers away from a shining town of Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Nakiwogo landing site
On your day 1 of the 3 Days Uganda Ssese Islands Tour, you will be picked up from Kampala or Entebbe Airport and be driven to the Nakiwogo landing site in Entebbe early before 2:00 pm by our safari drive with briefing. Upon arrival, the time matters. Since the ferry leaves at 2:00 pm afternoon and if you arrive earlier the driver will take you to Entebbe Botanical Gardens or visit Uganda Wildlife Education ‘’ referred to as the Zoo. Arriving at that time, you will sail to the largest island of Bugala on the ferry while enjoying beautiful sites along the second largest lake in Africa ‘’Lake Victoria’’.
You will be dropped at the Lutoboka Bay in Bugala Island and by this time, you will just get excited about the beautiful Island. Check into the hotel, relax as you enjoy the beautiful white sand beach. You can request for the campfire, later in the evening.

Day 2: Forest walk, Swimming, fishing at the Ssese Island
You will wake up on a cool beautiful day by watching the sun rise. Then go for a guided forest walk within the Bugala Island by an experienced guide who will tour you around all the important places around the Island, while explaining important information about the history of these Islands. Visit forests and birds to view including African fish eagles, palm nut vultures, Jewel pygmy kingfisher, hornbills, paradise flycatchers, barbets, grey parrots. Turacos among others, have primates viewing like monkeys, sightseeing of beautiful butterflies, and other wildlife species as you walk through the forest on the island.
After, forest walk, go for boat cruise where you will be able to visit the fishing land sites and get to learn about their fishing lifestyle. Enjoy the photo taking around the site. Then go for lunch.
Later on, after lunch, you can engage in one of these activities as an optional sunbathing, beach game, swimming many more. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Return to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
Have relaxed morning breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge and be driven to the mainland for the ferry back to Nakiwogo where you will find your driver-guide waiting for you to drive back to Entebbe Airport or to your next safari destination like Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking experience. This marks the end of safari with beautiful memories.
