Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi: On day 1 of 4 days of Uganda Safari, you will be picked from a hotel in Kampala or from Entebbe international airport by our company representative and start the 8 hours’ drive to Kabale district where Lake Bunyonyi is located. Stopover at the equator to enjoy a session of photo taking standing between the south and the North Pole. You will as well enjoy performing experiment to determine the north and south poles of the equator. From the equator, the next stop will be in Mbarara city where you will enjoy your lunch before stretching to kabale direct to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxed evening at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 2: Full day exploring Lake Bunyonyi
Full day at Lake Bunyonyi: After breakfast at your lodge listening sweet melodies of the little birds on day 2 of 4 days Uganda Safari, head out for a full day lake Bunyonyi exploration starting with a community tour on a guided walk with the local guides who will take you on a foot walk visiting the local communities of the local Bakiga and the Pygmies that reside near the Lake. After the walk, return to the lodge for lunch after which you will enjoy an afternoon canoe ride exploring different islands that are situated along the lake being a home to 29 islands each with its unique history such as punishment island where the Bakiga who would get pregnant before marriage would be dumped and left alone.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
Transfer to Lake Mburo national park: Enjoy your breakfast in time on day 3 of 4 days Uganda Safari then check out of the lodge and embark on the road drive from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo national park which is about 4 hours’ drive. You will enjoy your early lunch in Mbarara city then proceed to the park arriving in time for the afternoon boat cruise on one of the lakes situated in the park while spotting lots of fauna and flora along the shores of the lakes. Upon completing the boat ride, you will enjoy an enroute evening game drive to encounter with some of the wildlife species in the park including zebras, waterbucks, impalas, and many other mammals that will be spotted on your way heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Walking safari and transfer to Kampala for departures
Walking safari and drive to Kampala for departures: Arise from your bed in time on day 4 of 4 days Uganda Safari, head out for a guided walking adventure in a well-designed trail in the park spotting lots of wildlife that thrill in this savanna park including those hard to reach while on a game drive. Upon completing your walking safari, head to the lodge for breakfast then embark on a game drive after which you will set off on a 4 hours’ drive from Lake Mburo national park to Kampala the capital city of uganda where you will arrive late in the afternoon or in evening for hotel drop off or airport drop off.
