Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale national park,
Depending on your point of location on the first day of the 5 days Kibale chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then take off to Kibale National Park. Along the way, you will have en-route lunch and enjoy stunning views of the crater lakes, Rwenzori ranges, tea plantations, beautiful scenery among others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest lodge-midrange or Kibale forest camp –budget

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 5 days Kibale chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to Kanyachu visitor’s center for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest with a skilled park guide in search of the chimpanzees which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are found.As your trekking you will be able to view other primates different bird species, mammals, plants among others .Once the chimpanzees are located you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a great chance to learn about their behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, fight, play, hunt, rest, mate, take photos and record videos with a flash less camera. After the face to face great encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and then drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a walking safari experience in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to watch playful primate species such as grey cheeked mangabey, l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, view bird species like the great blue turaco, mammals, view different plant and tree species, colorful butterflies, enjoy the cool breeze many others. After the swamp walk, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-afternoon game drive
After breakfast on the third day of the 5 days Kibale chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to continue a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way expect to have spectacular views of the crater lakes, tea plantations. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth national park you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
Afternoon game drive, after lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive in the park where you will have great views of animals such as buffaloes, elephants, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, some bird species many others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hub lodge-midrange or Queen Elizabeth bush lodge-budget

Day 4: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
On this day, you will have an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 days Kibale chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive where you expect to spot wide range of animals in this active time. During the game drive, you will see animals such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, warthogs many others grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards before going back to their hiding areas, bird species and others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga Channel a 40km long channel that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise you will be able to view numerous hippos and crocodiles in water, animals to see include elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes drinking water along the shores, view water birds such as king fisher’s, fish eagles, cormorants, bee-eaters and see fishermen preparing their fishing gears for night fishing. After the boat ride you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After an excellent breakfast on the last day of the 5 days Kibale chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and then continue the journey with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to take photos and buy souvenirs to take to your beloved one back home . From the Equator you will continue a drive to Kampala .Arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
