Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to a hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international airport on day 1 of 5 days Uganda safari tour, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer you to the lodge in Entebbe or Kampala for dinner and overnight stay at Cycad guest house-budget or Best Western hotel-midrange

Day 2: Transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary
After breakfast on day 2 of the 5 days Uganda Kidepo safari tour, our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and start the journey to Kidepo valley national park. It’s a whole day journey and to cut the journey short you will have a stopover in Gulu town. On your way you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking experience. After rhino tracking you will continue the journey with en-route lunch. Then after lunch, proceed to drive the journey to Gulu and arrive to your booked hotel in Gulu town, check in for dinner and overnight stay at Churchill hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Kidepo national park-evening game drive
On day 3 of the 5 days Uganda Kidepo safari tour, you will have breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to continue the journey to Kidepo national park. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours’ drive and on your way you will enjoy spectacular views of the landscape, hills, Karamojong manyatas, seasonal rivers many others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch you will go for an evening game drive where you will get high chances of taking memorable pictures and enjoying great views of sunset, animals to see include giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, lions, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests many others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kidepo savannah lodge-midrange

Day 4: Morning game drive and Karamajong cultural tour
After an early breakfast on day 4 of the 5 days Uganda Kidepo safari tour, you will meet up with your driver guide and go for a morning game drive in Narus valley a permanent water body in Kidepo valley national park that attracts various number of wildlife species. During the game drive you will be able to explore different animals like lions, cheetahs, leopards, bush duikers, jackal, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bird species, Karamoja apalis many others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, embark for a cultural tour where you will visit the Karamojong people that live near Kidepo valley national park. During the cultural tour you will interact with the local people in the community which gives you a great chance to know more about their unique lifestyle , learn about their way of living, visit their homesteads which are known as manyattas, enjoy traditional performances in form of dances and songs, listen to ancient stories among others. After the cultural tour you will meet up with your driver and transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

After morning relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and say bye – bye to Kidepo Valley National Park and depart back to any advised place of inconvenience. That marks the end of the tour.
