Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Aberdares national park

Transfer from Nairobi to Aberdares: On the first day of the safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi after early morning breakfast by your safari driver, your driver/guide will give you a short safari briefing and then embark on your 3 hours and 30 minutes drive to Aberdares national park. When you get in the park you will check into your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive experience on which you will spot many animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, East African wild dog, giant forest hog, bushbucks, mountain reedbuck, waterbucks, cape buffaloes, suni, side stripped jackal, eland and sights of the beautiful hills and volcanic outcrops. In the evening you will have dinner at your lodge and stay overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Lake Nakuru

Morning game drive and transfer to Lake Nakuru: On the 2nd day of the safari, you will have early morning breakfast and with the en-route game drive, you will exit Aberdare national park for Lake Nakuru national park, on your way you will pass through the equator line and the Great Rift Valley escarpment where you will get amazing views. When you arrive in the park you will have lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy seeing many animals such as black and white rhinos, hippos, waterbucks, Burchell’s zebra, giraffe, tree-climbing lions, Thomson gazelles and many more. On the game drive you will also visit the beautiful lake Nakuru where you will spot many birds such as millions of pink shade flamingoes, grey-headed woodpecker, great crowned crane, great snipe, bateleur, Abyssinian thrush and many more. In the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara national reserve

Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara: On the 3rd day of the safari you will early morning breakfast, checkout of your lodge and set off for Masai Mara national reserve on a drive of approximately 5 hours, on your way you will pass through Narok town and upon reaching the reserve you will lunch after checking into your lodge. In the afternoon you will go for an afternoon game drive spotting animals such as lion, cheetah, elephants, leopards, cape buffaloes and many more. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve

Full day in Masai Mara: On the 4thday of the safari you will have early morning breakfast, meet your safari driver and head to Masai Mara national reserve for a full day of the adventurous game drive experience. As you drive in the plains of the reserve you will spot many animals such as lions, wildebeests, cheetah, zebras, gazelles, giraffe, elands, hippos, crocodiles, hippos and many more. Depending on the time of your visit in Masai Mara you may be lucky to watch the river crossing of the great wildebeest migration, in the river crossing millions of wildebeest accompanied by gazelles and zebras are spotted crossing Mara River on their way from Serengeti national park. At lunchtime, you will have a picnic lunch set on the bank of Mara River as you enjoy sights of crocodiles, hippos and many animals as they come to drink water, in the afternoon you will embark on another game drive visiting other parts of Masai Mara national reserve. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: transfer from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

Transfer from Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha: On the 5th day of the safari you will wake up early in the morning and drive to Masai Mara for an early morning game drive for sights of predators and early risers such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and many more. You will head back to your lodge for breakfast then checkout and set off for Lake Naivasha which is a drive of approximately 5 hours, Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake lieing at the elevation of 1,884 meters the highest elevation of the rift valley. The lake is a great bird watching site and a habitat to 400 bird species such as millions of greater and lesser flamingoes, goliath heron, jacana, great white egret, white fronted bee-eater, saddle-billed stork and many more.
When you arrive you will check into your lodge, you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will head to the beautiful lake Naivasha for bird watching, at the lake you will be mind blown by the pink shade on the shores and waters of the lake created by millions of greater and lesser flamingoes. You will also spot many animals such as shoe bills, grey crested helmeted shrike, red knobbed coot, African spoonbill, little grebe and many more. In the evening you will check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

Transfer from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli: On the 6th day of the safari you will early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge, and set off on a drive to Amboseli national park which is a drive of approximately 5 hours, Amboseli is a renown interesting tourist destination lieing on the floor of mountain Kilimanjaro. Amboseli national park is known for hosting large herds of elephants and the scenic backdrop of snowcapped mountain Kilimanjaro, when you arrive in the park you will check into your lodge, have lunch and go for an afternoon game drive. While on this experience you will spot many animals such as herds of elephant, lions, cheetah, Cape buffalo, elands and many more. You will also enjoy the scenic backdrop of mountain Kilimanjaro peak covered with crystal white snow offering perfect photographic opportunity, in the evening you will drive back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Transfer from Amboseli back to Nairobi
