Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale forest national park

Kibale forest is one of the top destinations in Uganda visited mostly by primate lovers who wish to enjoy chimpanzee trekking as well as chimpanzee habituation experience. Well, along the way, you will stopover for lunch and proceed to your destination. Depending on your arrival time, proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking safari in Kibale forest national park

Chimpanzee trekking safari and Bigodi nature walk: After breakfast on day 2 of 8 days Uganda wildlife and primate safari tour, meet your safari driver with a packed lunch box and be driven to the park headquarters in Kanyanchu where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking adventure, the dos and don’ts during the trek and all other possible encounters during the trek among others. After briefing, ensure that you hire a porter to asset in carrying the extra backpacker and set off to the forest to start the search of the habituated troops of chimpanzees. The entire forest walk takes about a few minutes to about 5 hours after which you will spend only one hour in their absence closely interacting with them and later on exit the forest to return for lunch at your lodge. Later in the evening after relaxing from chimpanzee trekking, you will be led into Bigodi wetland for a fascinating guided evening walk.
