Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja
Depending on your arrival time on the first day of the safari, you will be welcomed by our safari driver guide who will brief you about the safari and then transfer to Jinja city. Upon arrival in Jinja, you will visit the source of River Nile and later connect to check-in your booked hotel to refresh, have dinner and overnight stay at Nile front cottages.

Day 2: Boat Trip in Jinja and Visit to Sipi Falls
After breakfast, go for a boat launch on the River Nile. Then drive to Sipi Falls (3 hours) after lunch, visit the Falls and have an overnight stay nearby.

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo national park
After breakfast, embark on a 5-6 hours’ drive to Kidepo National Park where you will head on a game drive in Kidepo valley with en-route lunch in Gulu town. Continue to Kaboong district where we find Kidepo with aim of seeing herds of buffalos, zebras, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and cheetahs as you enter the park. You will enjoy a slow drive and you can be sure to seize picture moments while on your game drive and you will have several stops at any moment you please. Day 4: Morning game drive and community tour
After breakfast, connect to Narus valley, a true wilderness for the early risers, you will set out for another fabulous game drive through the open savannah where you can easily adventure the lions, the Cheetah, leopards and other animals including; the Cape Buffaloes, African elephants, waterbucks, Klipspringer, Jackals and different antelope species among others.
After enjoying your lunch, drive to visit some of the existing local communities around the park. The Karamojong people are known for a truly amazing culture similar to that of the Masai of Kenya. The Karamojong culture is still pure and totally unique from most other tribes in Uganda; they have rejected civilization and still live like in the ancient time .The Karamojong people are a very interesting group of people with a very unique culture visible in their way of dressing, cooking, dancing and other daily life activities. A visit to the Karamojong is a truly unforgettable experience you should look forward to. Later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Full day game drive in Kidepo national park
Have breakfast and brace yourself another stunning game drive in the vast savannah of Kidepo Valley intercepted by patches of borassus palm and the rising scenic hills. Enjoy the impressive views of the morning sun shining over the hills of Lomej, the Lotukei Mountains to the north close to the Sudan border, the Morungole range to the southern boundary of Kidepo before the rays strike down to the endless valleys of Kidepo and Narus valley and also visit the Kanangorok hot springs and you will expect to spot Ostriches within the region. Although their numbers are highly threatened by poaching by south Sudanese before you return. Dinner and overnight at lodge as above.

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison falls national park – Top of the falls visit
After breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park known as Uganda’s largest savannah national park and home to the most powerful water falls in Africa. It is a 3 hours’ drive from Nakasongola entering the park via Kichwabanyobo gate. Continue to drive through Budongo forest and connect to the top of the Murchison falls where you will explore incredible view of water escape via Murchison falls narrow gorge creating a white form and thunderous sound. Sometimes a rainbow is seen deep inside the gorge. After, drive to check-in your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Parkside safari lodge –Budget, Pakuba Safari Lodge -Midrange

Day 7: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on the Nile
Have gorgeous breakfast, connect to the delta area for your early morning game drive for chances of viewing the early risers and other animal’s species. This will take 2-3 hours depending on the availability of the animals. Return for lunch at your lodge then connect for your afternoon boat cruise on the Nile where you will encounter both land and water animals see include the hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and also different bird species. This boat trip takes about 2-3 hours. Return to relax at your lodge as above.

Day 8: Nile delta boat cruise and evening game drive
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for an amazing Nile delta boat cruise which starts from Parra jetty landing site and stretches to the shores of Lake Albert. During the Nile delta boat cruise you will be able to enjoy an amazing views of Murchison falls, large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in water, other animals like Uganda kobs, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks among others along the shores, water birds, view fishermen who will be catching fish on Lake Albert in dugout canoes among others.
After the Nile delta boat cruise you will meet up with your driver guide and drive back to the lodge for lunch where after you embark for an evening game drive where you will be able to view some of the animals that you might have missed to see the previous day. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 9: Departure to Kampala
After morning aroma coffee /tea served with tasty snacks followed by check out of the lodge and drive out of the park. You will say bye- bye to Murchison Falls National Park. Depart Back to Kampala with en-route lunch. Proceed to Kampala and upon arrival you will be dropped off to your hotel or to be dropped to Entebbe International Airport for you on ward flight back home.
