Best time to visit Murchison Falls National Park: The best time to visit the Uganda’s Largest game park –Murchison Falls national park is all year around but the best time is during the dry seasons from December to late February and from June to September, during this period of the year animals can be congregating around water bodies quenching for thirsty and the view is quite rewarding. By Road

From Kampala capital, it is approximately 4 to 5 hours’ drive to Murchison Falls national park. Recommended vehicles 4×4 wheel drive

The easiest access to Murchison Falls National Park from Kampala is through southern gates ‘’Kichumbanyobo the main gate and Masindi South Gate.

Another option, you can use the northern gates ‘’Tangi gate –packwach but seems to be longer in distance, the drive takes you straight to the most adventurous sections of the park.

By Air

To those who hate long driving hours or traveling by car you can book a domestic flight with Aero link or eagle air in Entebbe International Airport by chartered aircraft or the daily scheduled flight from Kajjansi Airfield near Kampala.
