Emburara Farm Lodge: Is luxurious lodge sited along Mbarara –Ibanda road estimating one and half kilometers from the Nyakisharara airstrip, then you turn on your left and one kilometers which stretches from the road sign leading you straight to the lodge. This lodge has high end Eco-luxury lodge that promotes cultural tourism and conservation of wildlife species, serena and cool relaxed farm environment. Ideally Emburara Farm Lodge is for interesting cultural experiences, family stay, honey-moon, business meetings and retreats or individual holidays.

Emburara Farm lodge offers spacious restaurant which is selected with local and international cuisine served in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is opened daily from 6am to 11pm. They also have special dietary meals which are available on request.
The lodge has nice lounge with a cozy and inviting atmosphere while area for drinks is well stocked and the lounging area is elegant and intimate during evening time and business meetings.

The lodge offers a perfect base from exploring the famous Nation Park and its attraction that lies in the western Uganda. You can decide to visit Queen Elizabeth national for wildlife viewing, visit Kibale National park a capital of primates in East Africa and visit Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking. On visit here, you will drive 45 minute to one-hour drive from the lodge to access the Lake Mburo National park where you will be able to encounter Rothschild giraffes, beautiful burchells zebras and antelopes and lot more to see at the park.
Activities to do while at Emburara Farm Lodge
Visit the Kraal Experience; You can enjoy an up close personal experience or as group with a wide variety of exotic and farm experience. You will go visit a traditional Emburara Dairy Farm and experience individual life changing where you get close tour of the farm and diversity of animals. On visit to their farm, visitors you’re able to feed and touch our animals, learn from them and take memorable photography. The most part of the Uganda tour is feeding out hay to our milking cows. Along the visit, tourists can also visit our traditional milking shed and learn about the milking process and what really happens to milk in Emburara. On your visit here, you won’t regret with much fun done.
Banana Brewing Experience
While at the lodge, you will be able learn how to make local banana beer or tonto and learn how to use of the banana plant in Ankole culture as process done with community women and men to turn banana leaves into beer. Meet up your guide visit the local people in the afternoon learn how to peel, crush bananas in preparation for fermentation and learn about the history and tradition of the process.
You will also experience the traditional Emburara beehives which is made with a combination of banana leaves, woven reeds and cow dung.
Cycling Experience
On a visit to the lodge, you will get a great time of experiencing into a stunning activity if you have enough time of visit here. You can engage in cycling and be able to experience the nature life through visiting the tropical equatorial rain forest, sight see the scenic landscape as well as adventure wildlife species like giraffes ,gazelles among others. The best way to enjoy all these is to have two night stay at our accommodations areas so that you can discover all the miracle of the nature in a relaxed environment of wilderness.

On visit to the lodge, you can go visit the Abamwe family a project which was set up for the needy children Organization. Where you can visit and enjoy a stunning cultural performances through dance and dram, traditional African songs, dance lessons, African songs, drumming lessons and dance lessons among others. In other words, you can choose to do a combined wildlife safari with cultural safaris and end up with true rewardable life time experience.
Other activities to do include; Farm cultural museum, great farming garden, volunteer tourism, visit the Ankole kingdom and learn about the history behind it.
