Entrance Fees for Kidepo Valley National Park – Uganda 2021-22
Entrance Fees for Kidepo Valley National Park : Entrance fees are fees charged to a visitor before accessing that protective place in order to engage in the different activities done inside could be the national park, museum, cinema hall and many more. However, Kidepo Valley national park renown as unmatched national park, located in the remote areas of north eastern part of Uganda region in Kaabong district at Uganda’s border with Kenya. Kidepo is also famous of bio diversity of wild animal’s species over 76 species including all the big fours like elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopard plus other species include Oribis, elands, klipspringer, warthogs, wild dogs, bat eared fox, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes and different unique bird species like Kori bustard, ostriches, black breasted barbet, Karamoja apalis, broad tailed warbler among others.
Entrance Fees for Kidepo Valley National Park are set or updated by the Uganda Wildlife Authority a government body to all ten national parks of Uganda. The charges are done basing on tourism in Uganda as the following;
Park Entrance Fees
Adult
Foreign nonresident is entitled to pay USD 40 as a park entrance fees for 2021.
Foreign resident is entitled to pay USD30 to access the park.
The East African citizen is entitled to pay UGX20,000 to access the park.
Children
Children for foreign nonresident entitled to pay USD20 as park entrance fees.
Children a foreign residents entitled to pay USD10 access the park ‘s premises.
Children for East African citizens pay UGX5,000 to access the park premises
Tertiary institutions/university pay UGX 5,000 as park entrance fees.
Uganda wildlife clubs entitled to pay UGX2,000 for the park entrance fees
Annual Park Entrance Fees
Individuals to pay annual park entrance fees must be a foreign residents and East African Citizens
Foreign resident is expected to pay USD350 as annual park entrances
East African citizen is expected to pay UGX150,000 as annually park entrance.
Couples
A couple of foreign resident is expected to pay USD500 annually as park entrance fees.
A couple of East African citizens is expected to pay UGX200,000 as annual park entrance.
Family ‘’Maximum 4 Children’’
A family of foreign resident with maximum four children expected to pay USD700 as annual park entrance.
East Africa citizens with maximum of four children expected to pay UGX300,000 as annual park entrance fees.
Annual Corporate Pass/Fees
Foreign residents ‘’corporate entitled to pay USD1,500 as annual corporate park entrance fees.
East African citizens ‘’corporate entitled to pay USD2500,000 as annual park entrance fees.
Safari guide entitled to pay UGX100,000 as annual park entrance fees.
Taxi driver is expected to pay UGX100,000 as annual entrance fees
Tour company drivers are not charged.

Foreign nonresident with a motor cycle is charged USD30 as park entrance fees.
Foreign resident with a motor cycle is charged USD5 as park entrance fees.

Foreign nonresidents with saloon cars are charged USD40 as park entrance fees.
Foreign resident with saloon car is charged USD10 as park entrance fees
East African citizens with saloon cars is charged UGX20,000 as park entrance fees.

Foreign nonresidents with mini buses is charged USD50 as park entrance fees
Foreign residents with mini buses is charged USD15 as park entrance fees

Please Note; All visitors are required to present in their valid identification documents to confirm resident status. Entrance fees is valid within 24 hours beyond that, you will have to pay extra money. Children to participate in any activity must be person aged between 5 to 15 years and person below 5 years are not allowed.
