Exciting activities to consider for a sporting safari in Uganda : As Uganda’s tourism continues to grow, the industry is spreading into other facets that are fun and interesting for the people who visit uganda almost every month. Apart from the natural beauty of the land and the diverse wildlife, Uganda has much more to offer its visitors from landscape, agriculture, historical sites and now also sports.

Uganda is one of the top sports countries in Uganda excelling in different sports like boxing, football, rugby, netball, cricket, basketball, handball, hockey, volleyball, badminton, tennis, swimming and many more.
Because of Uganda’s sports popularity that continues growing as their different national teams make it to the world stage like in 2024 cricket men’s team was in the T20 world, rugby men and women were at the world series the previous year and was at the world cup netball in 2023. People are continual more intrigued about Uganda as and want to visit the place to engage in some of the country’s sports activities.
But though people are interested in seeing and taking part in these sports we also realize, these sports can be hectic for a lay person that’s why for tourism and vacationing, here are some sporting activities you can take part in when you visit Uganda. Sports for both fun and also exercising.
