Game Drive
This is one of the amazing activities to do while at stay in Kalalo Cottage Inn, that takes you open savanna land of Murchison in an open roof safari vehicle where you can be able to view animals like; lions, herds of buffaloes, elephants, Oribis, Topis, Jacksons Hartebeest, Bushbucks, Kobs, Warthogs, waterbucks, leopards among others. Morning game drive is the best activity that gives a chance to see predators before they go back to their hideouts such as spotted hyenas, leopards, lions.
Boat cruise
You can choose to go for boat cruise along Victoria Nile that bisects the park and where the astonishing Murchison Falls resides with its stunning view of thunderous waterfalls and while on boat cruise you can cruise near the impressive devil cauldrons, hippo school and viewing of animals along the water banks quenching for thirsty. Animals to see includes; hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, buffaloes among others. Some of water bird species can be seen along such as; Senegal thick knee, swamp flycatcher, blue headed coucal, grey headed kingfisher, Yellow footed kingfisher, African fish eagle, Saddle Bellied stork, Open Billed Stork, goliath heron among others.
Birdwatching
The park is home of around 450 bird species and during your visit you can be able to spot some of the birds while on birding activities which is best done along the Victoria Nile delta on nature walk or on boat cruise. Bird to see includes; Shoebill stork, Yellow billed stork, Pied kingfisher, weaver birds, Silver bird, Abyssinian ground hornbill, black headed lawing, giant kingfisher among others. You can choose to do Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest.
