10 Days Wildlife, Sipi and Jinja Safari : This 10 days adventure to Murchsion falls national park, Kidepo national park, Jinja city, and Sipi falls will take you through the north westest, northern and Eastern park of Uganda covering Jinja town the home of the source of the Nile River. Sipi falls found on the foothills of Mount Elgon and Kidepo national park the most spectacular and exciting wildlife safari park in Uganda and Murchison falls national park which is the largest and most interesting savannah park to visit in Uganda. This trip starts and ends in Kampala/Entebbe depending on your schedule. This trip is basically for relaxation of the body and mind form the daily life of an individual.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer for Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino tracking and top of the falls visit
Depending on your location in Kampala, you will meet your driver guides and depart to connect to Murchison falls national park. It’s a 6 hours’ drive with en route visit Ziwa rhino sanctuary for your on-foot rhino tracking experience. You will receive a briefing and then track rhinos for about 1-2 hours’ drive. Have en-route lunch and proceed to enter the park via Kichwabanyobo gate and connect to visit the top of the falls before you proceed to your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Pakuba safari lodge (Mid-range)/Parkside Safari lodge (Budget)/Paraa Safari lodge for luxury on half board
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise
On the 2nd day of your 10 Days Wildlife, Sipi and Jinja Safari, After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours depending on animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis and waterbucks.
After the drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise on the along the Nile which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls. Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the river banks like kingfisher, cormorants and bee-eater. You will spend take viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures then later return to meet your drive and connect back to your lodge and a relaxed evening. After viewing the bottom of the falls, sail back to meet your driver who will transfer you back to your lodge with en route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo national park
On the 3rd day of your 10 Days Wildlife, Sipi and Jinja Safari, As early as 6 am, after your early morning breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your journey to Kidepo valley national park. The park is located in the far North Eastern part of Uganda taking about 7-8 hours’ drive with en-route lunch in Kitgum. The drive is spectacular with great views of the countryside and as you approach Karamonja region. Upon reaching the park late afternoon, you will be cleared at the entry and proceed to your accommodation for check-in at Apoka Safari Lodge for luxury/Kidepo Savannah Lodge for budget/Zebra Safari Lodge for mid-range
Day 4: Morning and afternoon/evening game drive in Narus valley
After breakfast, drive to the wild for your morning game drive and explore the park in Narus valley. After lunch, you will visit on of the communities around the park for a community tour, learning about the Karamojong culture and tradition (Only if you will be accepted). Later in the evening connect for another rewarding game drive where you are guaranteed of most of the animals like the zebras, buffaloes, elephants, on lucky days the lions, cheetah, leopards and hyenas. Before nightfall, drive back to your lodge to rest, have dinner and overnight stay again as above
Day 5: Game drive in Kidepo valley – community tour
After breakfast, drive for a game drive in Kidepo valley in anticipation of seeing some of the animals, the Ostrich birds and also visit the hot springs of Kanangorok before you return to your lodge for lunch. Spend your afternoon on a community tour as you get learn about the kaabong people and their culture and dance, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 6: Transfer to Sipi falls
On the 6th day of your 10 Days Wildlife, Sipi and Jinja Safari, After breakfast, check-out and embark on your journey to Sipi fall in Kapchorwa district located in the Eastern region of Uganda on the foothills of Mountain Elgon. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive with en-route lunch. Upon arrival late afternoon, check-in at your booked lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay – Luxury option – Sipi River Lodge/ Mid-range option – Lacum lodge/Budget option – Casa Sipi falls lodge
Day 7: Hike Sipi falls and Coffee plantation
After breakfast, connect to the Sipi falls office to meet your guide for the hiking experience. Sipi falls comprise of 3 waterfalls with the highest fall dropping at 100m, second highest at 80m and third highest at 70m. Depending on your ability, you can hike up to the third waterfalls, or second or just the first or even to all. This is refreshing moment of this trip after visiting the Sipi falls. Return to have lunch then connect for a coffee plantation visit given that the area is best known for producing Arabic Coffee and get a chance to buy and taste the Uganda Coffee. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at booked lodge above
Day 8: Transfer to Jinja City – source of the Nile boat cruise
On the 8th day of your 10 Days Wildlife, Sipi and Jinja Safari, After breakfast, you will meet our safari guide and transfer to Jinja City. Jinja is home to the mighty River Nile. It is a 3 hours’ drive from Sipi falls with beautiful views of the landscape and its people. Arrive in Jinja at good time for lunch. Check-in at the hotel then connect for a boat cruise to the Source of River Nile and Lake Victoria. This is interesting to experience! Day 9: Full day Nile rafting experience
After breakfast, connect for a briefing about water rafting experience before you start. You will be provided with rafting requirement and a guide for the experience. Rafting is a whole fun activity. Later, meet your driver to drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 10: Optional Jinja tour – Return to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, you may explore abit of Jinja visiting the Railway Museum, Itanda falls or choose to do other optional tourist activities like Kayaking, bungee jumping, tubing, horse backing, quad biking just to mention a few of your own interest. Thereafter, proceed back to Kampala/Entebbe with en-route lunch. It’s a 3 hours’ drive and upon arrival, you will be dropped off at a location you advise or to Entebbe airport for your onward flight back home, this marks the end of your safari in Uganda.
