The 13 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari takes you to one of the world’s most famous safari destinations in the entire world. That is Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, both Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. These three safari game parks are home to a huge population of wildlife and a great location to go for annual wildebeest migration events especially – Maasai Mara and Serengeti National Park. This trip starts in Kenya and ends in Tanzania
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-3: Pick up and Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, 4 -6 hours
On the first day of your 13 Days Maasai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari, prefer to do a private game reserve to see migration safari for 2 days.
You will be picked up from the airport by your guide who will brief you about the safari and then set off on your journey to Maasai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch, check into the lodge, and relax as you wait for lunch. Enjoy a short evening game drive later to introduce you to the Mara plains. Return to the lodge for dinner and stay overnight.

Day 4 & 5: Game Drive in Maasai Mara, Maasai Cultural Tour (Please remove, have done many times)
Wake up go for a morning game drive in the Maasai Mara after breakfast at the lodge and get to watch various wild games in the park, including Big 5 animals. You will search for various birds in Maasai Mara and the beautiful landscape of the park. Enjoy your lunch in the wilderness, and then embark on to visit the Maasai tribe for an opportunity to learn about the way of life of the Maasai people. After, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 6: Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride, Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Wake up early for a hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Plains. Search for the huge population of wildlife including the big 5 animals. Enjoy beautiful sunrises over the Maasai Mara, with scenic views of the savanna plains dotted with acacia trees. Climax your hot air balloon ride with a champagne breakfast in the wilderness.
After your hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara, enjoy game drives in the Mara plains in search for the various wildlife in the park. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, and then leave Serengeti to Maasai Mara National Reserve Kenya, with your packed lunch enjoy it en route. After clearing at the Isebania border, continue to your lodge of stay as you look out for wildlife and the beautiful scenery of the Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive viewing as you drive to your lodge of stay, check-in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7&8: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast at the lodge, drive out for a full day game drive with our lunch boxes along the Seronera area. Enjoy the big game around the Seronera River, some of the wildlife to search for in this section include the Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches and cheetahs. Serengeti National Park is the most sought-after Tanzania national park.
After your game drive, drive to the Visitor Centre where you will enjoy your lunch boxes. The Tourist Information Centre gives some impressive wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The shop also has a refreshment area, and we shall have your lunch from there.
Then, in the evening go for a game drive to the Kopjes the weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, offering shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes are rewarding hunt grounds for lions especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to have a dip and drink up. Look for other animal species which we might have missed during the morning game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and game drive around the crater.
Drive Time: 4 Hours
Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge, and then transfer out of the Serengeti enjoying yet another game drive. Have your lunch en route, and when you arrive in Ngorongoro. You will have a game drive around the crater then head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10&11: Full Day Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, and descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. The part of the area is watery which supplies water and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park to its numerous predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to adventure.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, known as one of the major features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water bird species. Thereafter, drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Back to Arusha with En-route Tarangire Park Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge, with your packed lunch and then, travel to Arusha making an en-route stopover in Tarangire National Park for an impressive half-day game drive. Tarangire National Park is known as the large herds of free-ranging elephants, and baobab trees among other attractions. Enjoy your lunch over a picnic.
You will also watch out for more wild game as you drive out of the park, transferring to Arusha. You shall be dropped off at hotel of stay in Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Drop off at the airport and will need a flight to Nairobi.
Depending on your flight time, you will enjoy some leisure time at the lodge and later, your driver guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight back home.
