The 15 Days Uganda Rwanda Classic Safari is a combined safari tour package that takes you to Rwanda and Uganda to engage in wildlife and primates to both neighboring countries Uganda and Rwanda to encounter wildlife, primate’s safari destination. The trip starts with a visit to Nyungwe Forest National Park in Rwanda home to the world’s perfect canopy walk as well as chimpanzee tracking, visit the renowned Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda for gorillas or golden monkey trekking.
After visiting Rwanda destination we shall crossover to Uganda ‘’the pearl of Africa’’ take a visit to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking or Batwa visit, also visit Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drives and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. You will also visit Kibale Forest national park kingdom for primates in the entire East Africa with more than 1600 individuals of chimpanzees – Kibale forest can engage in chimpanzee tracking and wetland walking before driving to Uganda’s largest national park Murchison falls national park for game drives and boat cruise at the bottom of the world’s most powerful waterfalls.
After a visit to Uganda’s National Park proceed a drive to Jinja town to visit the source of the Nile by engaging in white water rafting, bungee jumping on this longest river on planet Earth, or horse riding.
After a visit to the Nile, take a drive to Entebbe along Lake Victoria to take a boat ride to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This trip begins in Rwanda ‘’home to the land of a thousand hills’’ and ends in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport in Uganda referred to as ‘’the Pearl of Africa’’

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Arrival at Kigali Airport: Upon your arrival at Kigali Airport you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will take you for a city tour in and around Kigali city of a thousand hills depending on your arrival time. After this city tour will drive to Nyungwe for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Canopy walk or Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe
Canopy walk or Chimp tracking: Wake up early morning and enjoy your breakfast served with tasty snacks. After you will be transferred to the park headquarters for briefing.
Nyungwe chimpanzee tracking is semi habituated, you will be required to wake up early in order to have chance to watch these great apes in their natural inhabitants. Or else you can choose to engage in Canopy walking where you will have a chance to adventure from one end of the forest to another viewing beautiful bird species and other rare species of primates. Return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park: After breakfast, check out of the lodge drive out of Nyungwe Forest National Park and depart to Volcanoes National Park with lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon and check in at the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking or Golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes
Gorilla trekking: After having breakfast at the lodge, head out for briefing because you cannot start gorilla trekking without being briefed. After the briefing, go meet with the ranger guide to lead you to the strange intimacy of the rain forest where you can have chances to view notable birds, and rare golden monkeys as well as see fresh spoor of the mountain’s elusive populations of buffalo and elephants.
You can opt to go visit Diana Fossey’s grave or do golden monkeys. Have lunch at the lodge and relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Transfer to Bwindi: After having breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda with lunch en route. You will drive through the border crossing ‘’Cyanika Uganda Rwanda boarder’’. Then drive to the park, arrive at the lodge check in relax, Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 6: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Day
Bwindi Gorilla trekking: After your early morning breakfast, your drive guide will drive you to the park headquarters with your packed lunch boxes for a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. At 8:30 you will be led by the ranger guide to the forest trailhead through thick undergrowth to find gorillas, an activity which can last 2 to 8 hours depending on their movements. Once you find them you’re given one hour to watch them as you enjoy these endangered creatures which is once a life time adventure. If you did gorilla trekking in Rwanda, you can opt to do a forest walk or community walk. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP: After morning breakfast followed by check out and then depart to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Then after, embark on an afternoon game drive in Kasenyi plains in search of savannah wildlife like herds of buffaloes, antelopes, and elephants and if you are lucky you will come to some big cats such as lions, and leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Morning Game drive: Wake up have a morning breakfast, and drive to Ishasha sector for a morning game drive where you will be able to watch tree-climbing lions on the fig tree branches as they wait to hangout on the heads of antelopes as their prey and other animals to be seen. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise: Later on, head to the jetty along Kazinga channel for the boat cruise. The boat cruise offers you chances to view animals such as hippos, crocodiles, water birds, elephants, buffaloes many more. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 9: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Morning game drive: On day 9 of the15 Days Uganda Rwanda Classic Safari, wake up have your relaxed breakfast, and drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of wild animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, wild cats, savannah birds, antelopes many others. After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for lunch, check out and head to Kibale Forest National Park. Arrive in the evening, check into the lodge and rest as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Kibale Chimpanzee tracking
Chimpanzee tracking: On day 10 of the 15 Days Uganda Rwanda Classic Safari, after morning breakfast, you will be driven by the driver guide to the park’s meeting point for a briefing about Chimpanzee rules. After briefing, you will meet the park ranger who will accompany you to the forest trails in search for chimpanzees. As you search, you will have chances to view other primate’s species.
When they are found, one hour will be given to you to observe their life style, behaves, photography. Drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Swamp walk: Later in the evening, drive to Bigodi for a swamp walk where you shall see variety of bird species and primates. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Transfer to Murchison Falls NP: Have morning breakfast, and be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park passing through several small towns, villages, and panoramic views of the land escarpment. Arriving late evening. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 12: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
Morning game drive: After the morning aroma coffee tea, your driver guide, drives you to the northern section of the park known as paraa for the morning game drive. Expect to have high chances of spotting big game in Murchison -animals like giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards among others. Back to the lodge for a lunch break as you prepare for your afternoon boat cruise.
Afternoon boat cruise: After lunch, proceed for your two-hour boat cruise on the bottom of the falls to witness how river Nile squeezes itself in a narrow gorge before exploring out which is automatically a perfect experience in life time. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe en-route Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Ziwa Rhino tracking: Wake up and have morning breakfast followed by check out of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Then, drive back to Entebbe via a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route for a Rhino tracking experience with lunch. Continue a drive to Kampala to your hotel for an overnight stay,

Day 14: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary or Visiting Jinja at the source of the Nile
Visit Jinja: After morning coffee and tea, drive to the Eastern direction of Uganda to Jinja at the source of the Nile passing through the Mabira forest, sugar and tea plantation, and en-route stop to Sezibwa.
A visit to Jinja leads you to the source of the Nile ‘’the largest river in the world’’ where you can enjoy a boat ride to witness the actual point where the Nile starts and its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea or do water rafting to experience the beauty of nature. Or choose to visit Ngamba Island along Lake Victoria a place where chimpanzees are orphaned and rehabilitated. Back to your hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 15: Departure
Departure: After your morning lazy breakfast, you will look out of the beautiful city of seven hills depending on your Flight details, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your flight departure.
